Will sex robots diminish relationships with real women? No, because such relationships have already been diminished to the maximum level. Women no longer compete with each for husbands other because they have lowered the bar of relationships so much. Instead, women compete with the perks of being single. As men's satisfaction with romantic relationships have plummeted over the past half century, there came a point where being single provided more happiness than being married. Women who want to get marry have to provide at least as much happiness as the single life today provides for men, and that's already a very high bar. Sex bots are inconsequential. There are already many fun activities that compete for what little leisure time men have, and romantic relationships cost leisure time, not work time.
