Are you on a PC or a mac

If it's on a pc right click over the gif and click save as, then save the file somewhere on your computer. THen when you are posting to the site, select the button that says choose file (choose the file from where you saved it). After that select the button that says Include image. You will see the code added to your post. Then save (submit).

@WorkInProgress - the url has to end in one of .png .jpg or .gif to show up

so you have to find an image url that ends in one of those, view it in your browser to make sure it works, and then paste that url into a comment or new post and it should work.

in most browsers and operating systems, you just right-click (control-click on mac) and can view any image in a new tab. that's the url for that image.

example like this: http://somewhere .com/something.png (but without any spaces in the url)
