The race is not over -- if Hillary has to drop out then BERNIE IS BACK! Nothing could be more exciting than that.
According to the Party rules, it's almost impossible to get rid of a nominee unless she drops of her own volition, and then there is, I believe (could be wrong, going from memory), a two-vote-per-state election by Dem Party bigwigs to elect somebody to fill the void.
It doesn't automatically go to the runner up, and I'm positive that Donna Brazille will be as unbiased as Wasserman-Schultz in pushing another Neoliberal or Clinton crony.
That's why the Bernie team needs to be ahead of the game and make sure they capture the default argument, trying to get as many to agree before it happens and the DNC starts their narrative about why it has to be Biden or Kaine.
