Most top school districts in nearly every metro area of the United States are democratic voting. They buy into these neighborhoods to give their kids the best opportunities.

If they are truly interested in helping those in need, why can't they offer to bus kids in from bad neighborhoods.

The true liberals are the ones who are at least willing to go to schools in bad neighborhoods that are "diverse", through charter or some other mechanism. Even in those schools, their is significant separation between haves and have nots. But at least it is a "good faith" effort when compared to limousine liberals, who vote for ill-conceived social programs that only foster de-facto segregation

The problem quite simply is that America rejected liberal culture during most of the 20th and early 21st century. Liberals were always saying that platforms should be free and anyone should be allowed to express any idea. But conservatives, both the right and the left, and yes, the leftists are just a different kind of social conservative, blocked the liberal ideas. From radio to television to cable to movies to the Internet, left and right social conservatives demanded "decency" laws and regulation in order to "protect children" or feelings.

So there was never a time when people could express ideas that the majority opposed. You could never board a plane with a hammer and sickle t-shirt. You'd get arrested. The same goes for a "fuck you" t-shirt or one with a picture of a dick on it. Even before social media rose, there were few places where people could post dissenting opinions on the Internet. Every newspaper article's comment section was moderated and censored. And the few places where people could post just about anything without getting censored were taken over by trolls and rendered useless as discussion platforms.

The problem isn't liberalism. It's the lack of liberalism going back to the early days of radio.

They seriously think they will survive unscathed after the election, regardless who wins.

I'm pretty sure major investors in these companies have been consulted and promised they will be bailed out if this destroys them. Just get Hillary elected.

Otherwise there would be hundreds of Law Suits right now toward these SJW companies falling on the political sword, at their investors expense.
