Turd sandwich. It's what's for dinner.

gaff monster Biden would have trounced him.

Definitely. And I would have voted for Biden. He's actually a good guy, great at reaching compromises, and has good policies. He didn't run because Hillary was next in line. And that's the problem with both parties. They act like they are royalty and the throne passes in a predetermined order. Trump is like some pretender to the throne who ousted the rightful heir to the Republican throne, Jeb Bush.

429   turtledove   2016 Nov 8, 9:06pm

So true. A little sour grapes sounding ... but fuck ... gaff monster Biden would have trounced him.

What about the DNC? Why didn't they go with Bernie?.... and stand a chance, maybe? The movement for Trump wasn't exactly dissimilar to the movement for Bernie. We all know the DNC personally selected Hillary. It was clearly the wrong bet. Even Trump may beat her (I'm still giving her the possibility of sweeping every remaining state).

Japan (Nikkei 225) is down 5.35%, sp500 futures down 4.95%, nasdaq100 futures down 5.35%, oil futures at $43.34 (-3.65%)

Damn it. I was thinking about selling stock today, but then I was so sure Hillary would win that I decided to wait for the inevitable Hillary rally tomorrow. Bad mistake.

I sense a great disturbance in the butt-hurt, as if millions of Hillary supporters suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

Don't buy anything for a long time.

This isn't an algorithm fat-finger; it's a fat middle finger to the global establishment by the American Middle Class.

It's literally Brexit x 100.

The break-up (accelerated, as it was happening anyways) of the European Union is on warp speed, now, also.

Thank You to all Patnetters and the Man Patrick himself.

Thank You BIG LEAGUE to Mr. Julian Assange, I named my boy after you (and Julian Cope) and you did not disappoint. In fact you succeeded. May you be pardoned ASAP. He's been sitting in a tiny room for years upon years. "Many Bothans died to bring you this information".

It took a decendant of Disobedient Celts mixed with Taiwanese Pirates to do all this.

Also to James O'Keefe III

Thank you UKIP and Mr. Nigel Farage, for the Inspiration.

Thank you Sargon of Akkad, Cernovich, Scott Adams.

The senate is about split down the middle. The house is going Republican. This is bad because it means that Democrats can't block Trump's agenda no matter how crazy. It's up to the Republicans to be the voice of reason. Good luck with that.

The Republican establishment hates Trump, and now they are either going to have to obstruct his policies like he was a black Democrat, or they will have to own his policies, and that's going to cost them financially if Trump at all follows through on his campaign promises, which is a huge IF.

Trump wasn't supporting the economic agenda of the RNC during his campaign. Unless he changes his tune, the Republican senators and representatives will either have to fight their own president or go against the financial interests of their cronies. Image if Trump actually did something on immigration. Farm profits would plummet. Image if Trump actually did something on trade. Corporate profits would plummet.

It's going to be interesting to see the GOP squirm over the next four years.

Still, it would have been better if the Democrats took both houses at least for Trump's first two years.

451   freespeechforever   2016 Nov 8, 9:18pm

Rew - no.

Hillary was a much bigger risk for global conflict than Trump.

For all of Trump's flaws, he's much less ideological and far more pragmatic than Hillary and her merry band of neocons.

Hillary actually, out loud, proposed a no-fly (against Russian aircraft) zone in Syria.

452   indigenous   2016 Nov 8, 9:19pm

The fact is that he is going to change a lot less than he promised.

In the economy he will have no effect

He will not build a wall as it is a moot point.

Where he could be useful is to repeal Dodd Frank and Obama Care

Most of all a much lower risk for war.

No. Let's be correct here. She was the standard expected conflict. You now have a wild card. Ask the higher military if they like wild card over known enemy. I shit you not, I worry for my sons now. They are in the draft target for something which could be horrible.

One thing to do it to a Qaddafyi, but you don't be coy like that with a 1000s of nuclear warhead armed nation.

Wisconsin should be called by 12:45.

Even w/out Michigan, that will put Trump @ 249 electoral college votes, which takes him over 270 with addition of New Hampshire, Arizona, Iowa, etc.

No. However, the veto power of the president is very strong when the two houses are close to evenly split. And the president does carry weight in pushing the party's platform.

I don't see Trump as the type of person who will submit to the will of other republicans. His ego won't allow it.

466   freespeechforever   2016 Nov 8, 9:23pm

Trump is pulling further ahead in PENNSYLVANIA WITH 92% OF THE VOTE IN.

This is nothing short of a historic, wave (nay, TSUNAMI) election.

Not only is Trump getting Reagan Democrats en masse, but he's actually getting white OBAMA VOTERS.

This is a BLOOD-BATH FOR DEMOCRATS & HILLARY.
