The President doing these things mere days before leaving office as an apparent Humbug is extremely irresponsible. If somebody had done this during the Cold War, they'd be pilloried in the Press. The most hardline Cold Warriors would call it unhinged and reckless behavior.

It's scary to think how unserious people are about 1000s of SLBMs, ICBMs, etc. 1000s. Not one dirty bomb that would kill fewer people than a 'regular' frag bomb. Not one Hiroshima-sized bomb. But 100s, probably 1000s of MIRV warheads measured in the many megatons.

In fact, when you think about, we invaded a country over a really bad case of suspected anthrax and yellowcake enrichment (with a falsified, exaggerated narrative of evidence based on rubbish, which are we seeing yet again), but are poking at a country with 1000s and 1000s of nuclear warheads with an almost cavalier "I'll use this for political ammo" attitude.

The plane was shot down in Syria. The missile had to have been fired before the plane was in Turkish airspace. No evidence has been provided by Erdogan, and if you noticed, the Obama admin was very hesitant about pushing that line, because Erdogan is a real Dictator, far worse than Putin, and the evidence is strongly against Erdogan's BS story.

It's okay, he Russians got their revenge by killing one of the Turkmen Wolf leaders (or whatever it was called) operating just inside the Syrian Border from Turkey, whose father is a Mayor of a Turkish City and major Erdogan ally. No more bullshit from Erdogan after that.
