Nice job proofreading your post.
Oh pumpkin ... what would I do without your insults ....
You know what gave you up.. why I know you're not such a @$$... you slip sometimes when you speak here. Hence why I know you come from a good family and your current family are good people.
This act doesn't work on me, if you need to keep this up, I understand..
Or couldn't you find a dishonest chart to include with it?
It's a humors piece, come on, even you have to admit it

This is patnet! We will not tolerate humor in any form.
patrick.net is Angry Insult Central.
In the end, automation will eliminate everyone's job, including that of the OP.
BTW Logan, I have a STEM degree (applied chemistry/chemical engineering) and I'm now, cashing out my equity in this hedge fund work. I don't need a job anymore.
Unless you're in such a position, someone has to foot your bills. As far as I'm concerned, being a financial analyst doesn't make you impervious to automation a/o offshoring.
Seriously, do you really believe that you're some creative genius? I think that you're just a typical econometrics type, whose job can be automated just like anyone else.
Let me guess your response ... I am Issac/Tesla/Von Neuman "Logan" Newton, I'll always be employed!
Sure, I've heard that before.
Based on age restriction Dan can't read this.
Funny article, thanks Logan.

I am very sure this won't ever happen... humanity would go crazy if it didn't have purpose
More age appropriate

This is not a question about spiritually ... it's about the corporation.
If an organization, with all the capital, doesn't want to deal with headcount, a significant expenditure, what would it do? ...
Sure, it would retain a few VPs, executive VPs, and C-levels, however, outside of that, the work would be performed by expert systems.
This is not a question about spiritually ... it's about the corporation.
I have a hard time even coming up with a SyFy thesis that all people won't work and we will be like the people in the movie Wall E
But.. if this keeps you up at night, its very admirable

Strange, my company had produced a lot more earnings, w/o adding headcount, prior to the merger. But of course, you're an econometrics type, you don't really work for a company.
you don't really work for a company.
Every decade, always a group of people who say all the jobs are going to be lost due to technology advances without even factoring that technology actually creates job
Over 165 Million working people with the highest job openings ever recorded in human history last year at 5,900,000
So forgive my skepticism

Let's see if you're right.
Since I'd actually worked in tech, for a company which actively trades, I'd discovered that all a company needs is a few star traders and then, a bunch of automated support staff, to support their activities.
Let see if you're right.
One of the things that the Robot Skynet people don't taken into account.
Humans die... they also have a limited working life span... so once people are dead you need a replacement worker...
We are fine
y skepticism
Let me then fire these ppl and replace 'em with my 'bots. I'm sure that my dream team can easily destroy your so-called worker's utopia.
It's been done here, which is why I'd gotten a silver parachute. Perhaps, I can do it, nationwide.

Logan is right. They've been saying that ever since tractor was invented.
