OK, here's what I'm hoping for:

1. reduction in American military presence abroad
2. Trump to push for congressional term limits like he promised
3. Trump to push for published medical prices in advance of treatment
4. deportation of illegal immigrants while welcoming legal immigrants without terrorist sympathies
5. minimization of immigration from areas with endemic terrorism
6. policies which encourage American manufacturing and discourage outsourcing
7. the creation of a reputable news source without blatant spin (neither ny times nor breitbart)

Trump probably can't do number 7, but maybe he can deliver on some of the others.

I agree on #1

Other than that shrink the fuck out of government which is not going to happen.

2017, the first year you would be attacked by an Anarchist for having Wikilleaks swag, instead of "Right on, Man!"

Today we are not merely transferring power from one Administration to another, or from one party to another – but we are transferring...power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American People. What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people. January 20th 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again.

And you believe that ridiculous bollocks, do you? What persuaded you? His cabinet picks?

77   missing   2017 Jan 20, 10:58am

I turned on the radio this morning to NPR but could only stand it for a few seconds. The inauguration ceremony was on and somebody was talking about god.

Do they always have magic men talking at inaugurations? What century are we in?

NPR but could only stand it for a few seconds

I know, it is a pretty nauseating station.

FP says

It should be God, with a capital "G". What a shock to the secular left!

I don't think they were talking about a guy by the name of God. I think they were referring to some supernatural being... like Zeus (I didn't wait to hear which one exactly).

80   Ceffer   2017 Jan 20, 11:24am

Now that Trumpligula is Emperor of America, and it's "Suck My Dick, America" time, all those pot smoking dickheads will need to become dick smoking potheads.

81   NDrLoR   2017 Jan 20, 12:02pm

FP says

I don't think they were talking about a guy by the name of God

No, you're wrong, they were referring to God. It always amazes me that people of the modern day left seem not to understand that Americans have historically and traditionally been religiously observant in the Judeo-Christian faiths from the very beginning with the earliest settlements centered around either a church or synagogue providing a focal point for their lives. Somehow that seems to be offensive to certain modern sensibilities who thought we were on the way to re-creating another Soviet Union. When I was in school the day began with scripture reading over the PA system and a short devotional given by our principal or assistant principal and so far as I know no one was ever the worse off for it.

Offensive? No. I just have little tollerance towards stupidity.

That was Trump's tweet, but since you're such a special type of stupid, you wouldn't recognize that.

Except I was perfectly aware it was Trump, but the two of you are equally stupid so I can understand you being confused. The first question I asked wasn't that difficult to follow even for you.
As you copied and pasted it, I take it you agree with it, so once again, what part of his cabinet picks leads you to think it'll be a gov for the people rather than say billionaires?

85   OneTwo   2017 Jan 20, 12:47pm

Ironman says

Is that what the law says?

Ah, so you disagree with what he's saying. Thanks for clarifying.

You are right, however, those traditional values are quickly eroding. They day will come when an atheist President won't have to lie about his faith.

87   OneTwo   2017 Jan 20, 12:58pm

Ironman says

OK, back up your bullshit to prove why his cabinet picks are for the billionaires.. I can hardly wait to read your delusional comments.

What's the net worth of his cabinet picks? Government for the people indeed, though a very narrow percentage of them. Again why do you think those picks are synonymous with gov returning to the people rather than the exact opposite? I know that you won't answer, so I'll leave you to post yet another of your retarded non-responses.

88   Strategist   2017 Jan 20, 1:00pm

Rashomon says

The oath they take and the screening they go through indicates they will be a gov for the people.

Rashomon says

It's probably the highest ever, like their IQ's. Finally, qualified people will run the government.

90   OneTwo   2017 Jan 20, 1:23pm

Ironman says

You have something against people who worked for their money and are successful? In your fucked up mind, do the only people who can serve are poor people, like YOU??

No, but it doesn't make it a gov for the people, does it? You think those selections are somehow better for idiots like you than what has gone before? Feel free to explain why.

91   OneTwo   2017 Jan 20, 1:24pm

Ironman says

So, apparently you think people who successfully ran BIG businesses don't have the ablility to run a government office?

Feel free to point out where I said that.
And Rick Perry, for example, is qualified to run the department of energy how exactly?

92   FNWGMOBDVZXDNW   2017 Jan 20, 2:25pm

Hey you - Trump. The reason Putin wanted you to be president isn't because he likes you. It's because he wants America to be a laughing stock. You are the butt of the joke, dummy. Just thought you might want to know that. So stop acting like a star struck moron and try to redeem yourself. There's still a chance you can walk out of this with some self respect, but it's going to be tough.

Those weren't crowds at ObamaFuck's Inauguration. It was people lining up for their free shit.

Washington DC is mostly Black. They won't support a White family moving into the neighborhood. Ruins the neighborhood.

Zzyxxy are you attending in person?

No. I fucking hate crowds, and fucking protocol. I also tend to avoid going to downtown DC. The one time I worked there it was right off the highway with plenty of free parking (I.E. - not near all the touristy stuff and/or capital). I really only ever liked going there when I was on my bicycle (DC is very bicycle friendly). Besides that, I can get a better view on TV.

I'll compare it to corzine vs Christie; Christie still increased taxes after corzine, but the rate of increase dropped
