As it happens, some ladies next to us on the train were from Ohio. But the point of the march was obviously to make a political statement by having the biggest set of marches in US History as a direct response to Trump's election. It wasn't to somehow change the election results and it's a little early to be worrying about the electoral results in the mid term elections.

Considering none of them will be standing next to Trump, I'd say the chances are slim. All in all, the women were about average looking. There were plenty of 7 plus types as well as the unattractive 3 or less. There were lots of older women. I'm talking middle aged up to people needing a walker. There were young people too, but I was surprised at how many older women there were.

Even before any Presidential run, it is a far gone conclusion that Massachusetts and New York State would go to the Democratic front runner, even if it's someone as unlikable as Hillary Clinton.
Now, ask yourself this question ... would these modern Yankee bitches, meaning the so-called spiritually enlightened, yoga/pilates' masters, professional women of the greater Boston, NYC, DC, SF, etc areas, all move to let's say Dayton Ohio, Indianapolis IN, or Milwaukee WI, to help the swing states move more towards a Democratic candidate?
No, because as anyone can tell from the ppl on urban chic shows like 'Sex in the City', these women want to be at Martini bars, where white collar Ivy League men constantly prop up their rights, while discussing the merits of Chaucer, instead of some run of the mill pub, where former mill or manufacturing workers hang out with childhood friends. In other words, these folks have nothing to add to regions which don't already assuage their lifelong victimhood status. In Indiana, they actually have to be friendly, to get a date. Remember, Trump had won Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ohio. All three states did not have their ballets tampered with at once. In contrast, Gore had only lost in Ohio. All of Gore's other wins were blue states with Florida as the only swing zone. For all intensive purposes, Trump had won this election, fair and square, by the rules of the electoral system in place. This was not a sham election!
