FILE - In this Monday, Sept. 8, 2014 file photo, Iraqi lawmakers attend a session in Baghdad, Iraq. Iraqi lawmakers have called for a "reciprocity measure," banning Americans from entering the country after U.S. President Donald Trump's executive order banning Iraqis and citizens of six other majority-Muslim countries. The Iraqi vote was non-binding for the government, but is poised to strain Iraq's relations with the U.S. in the midst of the operation to retake Mosul from the Islamic State group.

Works for me, let's pull everyone of our military guys and financial support out too, and let them handle ISIS on their own.

Agree. It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out.

BUT

I don't know a soul who wants to go to Iraq.

So when we bombed the shit out of their country, that was fine, but a travel ban crosses the line!?

Trump thought we should pull out of Iraq in 2009, and then criticized Obama for doing the same. He said that Obama created ISIS by doing so. Now, Isis is on retreat due to Obama's efforts working with the Iraqis to clear cities one by one. Now you guys want Trump to pull out when we have ISIS on the ropes?

Who says it was fine?

Travel ban on people who have been living legally here, have jobs, families, or study here, is causing unnecessary hardship. There is no excuse or justification for it. I have friends in that cituation (stranded abroad) and know that their lives have been turned upside down for no good reason.

Pre war, that is a place I would have loved to visit. The Euphrates, Tigris, Hanging Garden of Babylon-or what is left of it. iraq has a lot of history. I visited Jordan-beautiful, beautiful place-so much history-amazing what you can see, Petra, Roman ruins, various Muslim cultures etc etc. Just cool sitting in the hotel room in the dead sea and being able to see the lights in Israel on the other side.

Lebanon is supposed to be beautiful too.

Good. Let mighty Vladimir deal with ISIS. Everybody says he's very capable of taking care of it. It's time to prove it. Do it, Vladimir. Show us!

Yeah, ISIS hasn't been on the back foot since the Russians started bombing, right?

Yet when the US was "bombing", the Admin prevented the USAF from bombing the huge convoys of Turkish-bound Oil Trucks driving over the open desert, unmissable from the air or satellite.

The Syrians use Russian ATGMs, where did ISIS and AQ get TOWs from? Saudi or Turkey or the FSA?

I could mention recent re-taking of Palmyra by ISIS, but I won't. I agree, Vladimir is very good at fighting ISIS. Let him finish it. Who needs US troops when we have mighty Vladimir, eh?
