End all government funding for discrimination based on race or gender

No institution that is deliberately favoring or excluding any human being by race or gender should get any government funding.

This means that Affirmative Action must end, since it explicitly discriminates based on race. It also directly harms black people by promoting the assumption that they are less qualified for the job or school slot and could not have achieved it otherwise. Affirmative Action is "the soft bigotry of low expectations" as Bill Maher puts it.

Companies which deliberately attempt to change their racial or gender composition must also be excluded from all government contracts. "We should hire more women" is overt sexism against qualified men.

The government itself must be prohibited from even considering race or gender in job applicants, and like France, should entirely stop collecting statistics on race. This would also help end the divisive identity politics which destroyed the traditional Left.

There should be only citizens from the government's point of view.

You got my vote. And also get rid of these ridiculous racial and ethnic categories like Caucasian, Latino, Hispanic and colored people or people of color.

I think France has the right idea, in that it is simply illegal for the government to collect statistics by race:

Under its egalitarian ethos, it treats all citizens the same, refusing to group them into ethnic categories. It is forbidden by law to collect statistics referring to “racial or ethnic origin”.

You should see what is going on in academia, especially in physics. Blatant promotion of women at the expense of better qualified men. The ironic thing is that underlines their inferiority, on average (!), in this field.

They are not simply satisfied with hiring women preferentially over men, but also giving prestigious awards and grants to women who are below average scientists.

It's really sad when I see "minorities" promote Affirmative Action because it basically says they need a crutch and/or special privileges to get ahead. If I were a minority, I would find that insulting to assume that I couldn't succeed on my own or compete with Whites or Asians.

Regardless, AA is fucking discrimination no matter which way you slice it.

in my highschool senior year i tried to apply for EOP money in college and they rejected my application saying i have to be black to qualify. WTF?

if you want to see how tax money is spent on blacks' education, visit a PAN African study class room at local university or college. it's 100% ghetto in there.

blacks need a new culture, not more money spent on them.

I don't understand why when you apply for a job, the gubmnt diversity crap asks if you are Hispanic or latino? Why not black or Asian or any other category?

I had contacted the Bay Area SBA office about what proof was required to prove you were in that special minority class to access set aside SBA funds. The rules: Not anyone could claim to be a Native American. You had to show that you were on a tribal register. Anyone could claim to he an Hispanic or Latino.

When I asked him how this made any sense at all, he agreed that it was nonsensical, but that was the rules.

One time I had to pass out some survey to the kids issued by the state. I shit you not. The instructions said, "if you are of middle eastern descent, please check off white". One of the kids who was from Jordan in the class was like "hey, I'm moving up in the world!" and we all laughed.

This is of course crazy.

The government should stop collecting race data at all. We are all just citizens.

The US has been sold "Devisicism" under the last president. We are Anti Egalitarian. How will Liberty and Fraternity fare if we do inverse Egalitarianism?

Whenever I tried to point out that women are not discriminated against in physics I was called a sexist by all the liberal men around me. ironically, the only ones who agreed with me or defended my position were the women who didn't need preferential treatment. I realized that this is a very sensitive subject to take the opposite position on.

The standard argument I hear is that if there are more women professors, more girls with will be willing to study physics. I haven't asked yet why the program officers ask us to put women on our grant proposals. Anyway, the system is so fucked up, I don't care any more.

Patrick, reading your top 40 list, it's almost shocking that some (maybe most) are not already being followed in this country!

Patrick, we need you to run for office so we can slow the bullshit train that's running out of control.

I worked for a professor in engineering. I watched him secure 50 million in grants. He had all kinds of methods. Most of them involved him putting his Argentinian girlfriend's name on the grant. He wrote a grant for "minority students" in engineering for 4 million dollars. That's how I actually ended up working for him. They thought I was hispanic and gave me the fellowship. There was a big problem when I didn't check off hispanic on the end of the year report. The next year, he imported students from the University of Puerto Rico to do "lab rotations" so he could check off the hispanic box and meet the quota.

Thanks, that's quite a compliment! I'm more interested in simply promoting these ideas as widely as possible and helping the elections of candidates who support them. Maybe writing another book too.

I doubt I could get elected to anything myself.
