A man wanted for murder in Mexico has been deported by ICE according to a report released late last week from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

47-year-old Servando Camacho-Velazquez (aka El Baron) had also recently served 18 months months in the Arizona Department of Corrections for a felony drug smuggling conviction. He was previously deported in January 2014 through Del Rio, Texas.

A previously deported Mexican man wanted in his native country for aggravated homicide was removed Tuesday by officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).

Servando Camacho-Velazquez (aka El Baron), 47, was transferred to the custody of representatives from Mexico's Procuraduria General de la Republica (PGR) and Mexican immigration officials by ERO officers at the DeConcini Port of Entry in Nogales. Camacho-Velazquez is named in an arrest warrant issued Nov. 4, 2015, by a judge in Hermosillo, Mexico.

Camacho-Velazquez most recently entered ICE custody Feb. 16 after serving 18 months in the Arizona Department of Corrections for a felony drug smuggling conviction. Department of Homeland Security databases indicate Camacho-Velazquez was previously deported in January 2014 through Del Rio, Texas. ICE reinstated his prior removal order, paving the way for Wednesday's repatriation.

"ICE will not allow fugitives who've fled their countries seeking to elude justice to find a safe haven here,” said Enrique Lucero, field office director for ERO Phoenix. "Not only will we continue to aggressively seek out these dangerous criminals, but those found to have active warrants abroad will be turned over to the authorities in their respective countries through our well-coordinated removal efforts.”

Why the fuck do we think we need to punish them? Just deport them

Just playing devils advocate here, but if we deport them, they could easily be back in before their 18 months are up.

Under Trump, ICE Agents Actually Feel Free To Do Their Jobs

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents say that under the new Trump administration, they’ve been empowered to carry out their jobs, instead of being punished for insubordination and told not to arrest illegals.

The New York Times interviewed 17 ICE agents across the country to talk about how the new atmosphere created under the Trump administration has allowed them to properly deport illegals. The Times described the agency under Trump as a “whirlwind of activity.”

“Before, we used to be told, ‘You can’t arrest those people,’ and we’d be disciplined for being insubordinate if we did,” said one ICE agent, who had worked with the agency for 10 years. “Now those people are priorities again. And there are a lot of them here.”

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said Tuesday that the Trump administration’s goal was to “take the shackles off” agents.

Under the Obama administration, agents were told only to focus on deporting gang members and those with serious criminal histories.

“What part of illegal don’t people understand?” one agent commented on Obama-era policies in frustration.

Now that ICE agents no longer fear the scourge from officials bent on providing cover for illegals, the unions for ICE and Border Patrol noted that morale has skyrocketed.

Some agents have even started describing their jobs as “fun.”
