Never even heard of this before:

Yes! The best lecturer I've ever had.
His grad students had some complaints though... It was back in the day when he was doing research; I don't know if he is still active; not my field.
However, there is a danger with these popular science talks. They leave you with the impression that you understand things, whilhe in fact you don't.
The rule of thumb is - if you don't know how to apply a law of physics, you don't understand it.

Yeah, you already have to give up non-locality to explain quantum entanglement, so why not pilot wave theory?
There was this one nutcase -- I swear it might have been Heraclitusstudent -- who wanted Brian Greene to agree with his wacko idea that the numbers 4 and 7 are controlling the universe because -- and I'm not making this up --
- there are 7 days in the week
- there are 7 continents on Earth
- there are 4 oceans on Earth
- the 7th letter of the English alphabet is g which is the first letter of god
Well, I'm convinced. And to think I've always considered the number of days in a week to be an arbitrary historical decision, the word continent to be essentially meaningless, and isn't the Arctic Ocean considered the fifth ocean now-a-days? Or better yet, there really is just one ocean with five names.
However, I never realized the universal physical properties embodied in the English alphabet.
That guy sounds like a Troll. There are several Flat Earther Trolls on Gab.ai.
Strange how these wack jobs appears on the scene after the scary clown in the woods faded away.
I just went to a lecture he gave at the Boca Mizner Amphitheater. It was awesome. Dr. Greene is very charismatic and instantly likable.
Afterwards I met him and asked if he was a Copenhagen man or a pilot wave guy. Like me, he's pure pilot wave. He was quite critical of the Copenhagen Interpretation.
