Two dislikes for "I love Rock n' Roll" and "Cum On Feel the Noize". Looks like we got some sad Folk Music lovers in the crowd.

No worries, I give you a hair metal ballad.

Another song I remembered while sitting on the John.

I bet she shags like a Minx, yeah.

Remember that one - great song. Sort of a one hit wonder though.

Another one, this time I was drifting off to sleep when I remembered this minor hit:

The older I get, the more I prefer McVie over Nicks.

I don't know why, of all the things going on in that song, but I love the sound of that snare drum.

FYI, the thread is what you're listening to this evening, not morning ;)

Classic: NEU!-Negativland. The song that influenced upteen genres, and even a Band

The vaunted Motorrik begins about 0:45

To do what, make background for video games?

Been on a grunge kick lately. Not sure if this song wails or whales.

Hey, that was comment 420, dude.

That's the way "Hurdy Gurdy Man" makes me feel, too. A local audiophile likes to play Donovan records in vinyl as demos. The sound quality is surprisingly good because they were mastered well, but the songs seem stranger to me now than when I first heard them.

Confession: I never knew one thing about Donovan or any 60s stuff except Hendrix when this song came out and thought the Surfers wrote this song totally sloshed and high.

One more Zappa. Apostrophe is probably a top 25 album for me. Top to bottom a fantastic listen. Hence the 2nd post in like 10 minutes.

On vinyl

Shades of Deep Purple on blistered vinyl (the way I like it). You'll hear shades of Cream, Ten Years After, Savoy Brown, and a splash of Stones in there. "I went to Deep Purple concerts, and they were always REALLY LOUD!"
312   Ceffer   2018 May 29, 2:20pm

"Dark Funeral" Heh, Heh. Such optimism set to thrash metal. I had to listen the the Sound Track of Mary Poppins and the Sound of Music ten times just to keep from offing myself.
314   MisdemeanorRebel   2018 May 31, 6:15pm

Coulda sworn I heard this song in some 80s Movie, but was made around 2010

I like the conversation breakdown towards the end, so new wave 1985.

Pocdasts from KrisAnne Hall. Most definitely better than most of the bullshit "music" available on the radio today, and you will learn about our governments (federal and state) to boot. I don't have enough time for idle entertainment, I prefer education while being "entertained."

Buncha vintage mandolins. On vinyl, of course.
