Exactly. Apparently through the trial it became apparent that Christie knew about this plot much earlier than he has stated, yet he is facing no charges and gets to hang with his buddy the Big Trumper today as his aides get sent to prison.

Since when did you get all DOT civic minded on us? There's not a day I'm not cattled and coralled in my daily commute. Our i95 corridor is a hightech way to fuck with drivers and their habbits to put them in as much gridlock hurt. So that your only options are to take the Toll lanes or the Bus. I watched first hand day by day over the last two years as they built it. After the actual paving was done it was actually fast. Then they started chopping up lanes bottle necking, and placing city and state vehicles on i95 to snarl traffic. Becuase the law is "Move over it's the Law" So when these FHP bastards, are pulled over on the right shoulder, right in the middle of that 3 lane bottle neck down from 5 lanes a quarter mile ago. Those cars in that bottle neck then have to move over a lane reducing it down to 2.
If you want to string anyone up, string the pricks up that are fucking with our commute TODAY.

NEWARK — Bridget Anne Kelly, a former top aide to Gov. Chris Christie, was sentenced to 18 months in prison on Wednesday for her role in closing access lanes to the George Washington Bridge as a form of political retribution against a mayor who refused to endorse Mr. Christie for re-election in 2013.
Earlier on Wednesday, Bill Baroni, 45, a former top official at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, was also sentenced to two years in prison.
Ms. Kelly, 44, who was Mr. Christie’s deputy chief of staff, and Mr. Baroni, 45, had been found guilty by a federal jury last fall of conspiracy and fraud following a seven-week trial.
“What occurred in September of 2013 was an outrageous abuse of power,†Judge Susan D. Wigenton said as she handed down Mr. Baroni’s sentence in United States District Court here, calling it a “sad day†for the State of New Jersey.
