Men and women think differently, and that's due to biology, not culture. Evolution selected for bigger, more analytical males who can defend territory and build things. On the other hand, women were selected to be more nurturing and to make sure all the children got fed and treated equally. Without both sides, we die out. Currently, the government in both the US and Canada is essentially female, resulting in lots of problems, such as an overly hysterical reaction to a relatively weak virus, and support for open borders. Call me sexist, but biology is reality.

Here's a quintessential example of the feminine mind mistaking APPROVAL for CREATING VALUE.

I need a word for this, too. Ill call it "validationism." It's the private-sector version of "credentialism."

This woman says that she had multiple ACCOMPLISHMENTS in 2024, and her husband had NONE.

She then goes on to list certifications, college courses, awards, and so on.

Her question for her husband is: "How can you go a whole year without getting any of these things and be OK?"

The answer is: because men value PRODUCTIVITY while women value RECOGNITION.

Notice that every single "accomplishment" that she listed for herself is something that ANOTHER PERSON HAD TO APPROVE OF.

Notice that there is no mention of the actual work that she did, or what value it created. No mention of what her husband does, either.

For a moment, imagine that both of them have jobs shoveling snow, just for simplicity's sake. If you plug that in, then here's how this conversation would go:

Stacey: "I passed the snow-shoveler's course this year and earned my master shoveler certificate. I was featured in the powerful ladies of snow-shoveling documentary. I was awarded snow shoveler of the year. What did YOU do this year?"

Husband: "I probly shoveled more snow than you."

The problem with Stacey's framing here is that she doesn't see the act of removing snow as the ACCOMPLISHMENT. It's the PRAISE she receives for it.

Praise is fuckin' free. People hand it out to whoever they favor. It means nothing other than "The praise-deciders liked me best." If you don't believe me, go look at the winners and losers of beauty pageants over the last few decades. "Equality" is when you put the worst first and the best last.
