I think this is in reference to the existing ad-hominem and new thread ban features unveiled.
Sorry, did I not further the topic? Was that not valuable to the Pnet community?
The problem is, we have some people who are drowning discussions in meaningless "bananas". The OP thinks ad-hom and banning is about "protection" for "fragile people". Ad-hom and banning allow a tiny bit of communal moderation to push back against trash and vandalism.
Anyone who thinks someone who is "fragile" would stay, or openly contribute here on Pnet for long, is fooling themselves. We have drooling internet reject mutants here. No snowflakes.

More are welcome to join in.
Our introduction to new SNOWFLAKES, FUCK YOU!
I agree. If we start banning people then Patrick.net will be just like everyplace else.
When will 'Snowflake' jump the shark? What month, date, and time?
If you need any precious snowflake protection from Patrick, who seems otherwise decent, sincere and intelligent (this despite his inextricably stubborn support for one Donald J. Trump 'Art of the Confidence game" Snake Oil Salesman"), at least put on your pussyhat before availing yourself of such protections and force-fields from the "mean words," snowflakes.
