Statutory rape laws have always made me scratch my head. They seem inconsistent in themselves and how they treat different genders. I've never voiced that to anyone in real life because I can just hear the screeching now and that shadow of a doubt creeping across someone's face as they start to wonder about you. Hm. So you'd have no problem with like say or one or two year age difference? Even that seems to make a lot of people hacked off. Why is that? What about mental capacity? Lemme know.

Disgusting for many reasons, all to do with our legal system and culture, not the consensual relation.
1. If a man did this, he would get at least 10 years in prison and would have to register as a sex offender for life.
2. Prosecutors asked for only 22 months because she's a woman. A man, they would have asked for 15 years.
3. Most people in our society should be calling for a man to be castrated or hung if he gave alcohol to a 15-year-old boy or girl and then had sex with the minor. Since a woman did this to a boy, there is no outrage.
4. There is no victim in this crime. Of course a 15-year-old can consent. The boy was not harmed at all. If anything, he was far better off. This should not be a crime regardless of the genders of the people involved. The entire law is based on lies.
So our legal system huffs and puffs, but only slaps a woman on the wrist so that it can pretend that it's laws and court rulings aren't entirely sexist. This is pure corruption.
