Yes, we fundamentally disagree on who the bigger enemy is: Russia or Islam/ISIS. We also disagree on the degree to which Islam, the religion, is a security threat itself.
It is very likely, daily Intel briefings would tell us N. Korea is the predominant thing being focused on right now. So we would both be wrong ... for today.
I do maintain that the longer historical arc will not be an East/West Islam/Christianity clash of cultures but a Liberal Democracies vs Nationalist Tyrannies conflict.
