Having the maid pouring Draino in mother Trump's tweetee
The best defense of Trump was given in the WaPo article: Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.), who chairs the House Appropriations subcommittee that oversees the HHS budget, interpreted the agency’s guidance as “more silly than sinister,” saying it shows the “bureaucracy trying to react to what they think the new administration wants to hear.” Even if you don't blame Trump for top down command and control, blame him for creating the environment where a new political correctness shows up.
are being ridiculously sycophantic. OkayWhen politicians on the right, bureaucrats, and self serving foreign governments start to kiss his ass, because he has a reputation for being a petty asshole, it's a problem. The bureaucrats didn't pull this out of their asses. They are getting messages from above.
Trump correctness involves a different kind of word based wack-a-mole. His administration is making people stop using such words and phrases as 'vulnerable,' 'diversity,' 'science-based,' 'fetus,' 'transgender,' 'evidence-based.' Someone's skin is a little too thin, I think.
People are saying that Trump must be feeling vulnerable due to his secret desire to be a woman, the fact that his mother tried to abort him when he was a fetus, the fact that evidence and science contradict most of his narratives. Also, diversity just pisses him off. Time to prohibit those words in official docs.
