Both the publication/website "The Federalist" and the author are very cozy right of center, far right.

The article has some merit but personally I question the real motive. The author is not Snow White.

The original intent of the thread was to inflame and anger while insinuating that the root cause of the bridge collapse was due primarily to a female engineer being involved and a company that has minority ownership of some fashion.

Furthermore insinuation suggests that said collapse would not have occurred had a traditio...

I didn't contribute to the idea that a woman is responsible for the bridge collapse. I'm sure there are 20 people that deserve to be fired or prosecuted for this one. That being said, the article had nothing to do with it either. I do believe that trying to push a particular group to increase their participation into a field leads to less desirable outcomes.

No it does not imply that the cause is known. All that it implies is that due to admission statistics, it is more likely that a female/minority graduate is less likely to be competent and thus more likely to screw up than Asian/white/male graduate.
