Bitcoin, like all fiat currencies is only worth anything because people are willing to pay for it. But bitcoin is not a currency which is defined as, "Money in any form when in actual use as a medium of exchange, especially circulating paper money."

Bitcoin doesn't circulate. It is created and maintained by an extremely expensive process of a ledger that contains information on who is the "owner" of the bits. It will never be a valid currency as it cannot be easily exchanged and will always have a transfer fee.

There are a lot of ignorant people who think they own the "new gold" and a small group of people that actually make money off of these fools.

If you don't know who the fool is in this system of artificial scarcity, it might be you.

I'm still amazed that the market cap of bitcoin is worth more than all of the investable silver in the world.

Of course silver just sits in a safe whereas crypto requires massive amounts of electricity just to keep it going.

We can always mine more silver but bitcoin is capped at a 21 million "coins". All bitcoins will be mined by 2040, after which the miners will survive by charging transaction fees.

Silver is shiny and has used. Bitcoin is bits and is the currency of the future that is getting ready for its moonshot. Buy now or be priced out forever.

I've been reading up on crypto, the IMF, ours and other governments stance on our current predicament and the rumored, 'great reset'.

Apparently the great reset is already in the works just most people don't know about it. We may in fact not even be forced onto Fedcoin for long if at all. We may be forced onto ripple so that the entire globe is interconnected and there is 100% 'transparency'... So they say. I don't like this one bit. US may not have much choice after all of this money printing.

Anyhow, reading between the lines it seems at that point bitcorn et al. will be banned under the guise of 'environmentalism'.
