As distrust of centalized authority grows, conspiracies will continue to become more mainstream.

It's interesting he took the time to examine the issue. The 'theater' of the moon landings, at least, was faked extensively because it was too important to leave to chance. Whether real 'secret' astronauts were irradiated and microwaved to set foot on the surface, and survived the journey back, is moot.

They were never able to even get the Lunar Landing Module to work on earth, and nearly killed a couple of astronauts/pilots trying, yet they claim perfect performance on the moon over several missions. Granted, the gravity is greater on earth, but you think they would test prototypes that worked on earth before actually launching a mission.

Computing power at the time was also feeble, and hand held calculators in the 80's had as much computing power as NASA computers at the time of the launches.

Lol.

But seriously, the REAL reason the moon landing was faked is because the Earth is flat. The moon is just a projection on the firmament. Or something like that

Yeah, it seems that athlete questioning Moon landings just proves that concussions are bad for brain. When athletes start questioning subsidies for MIC or banks, then I will believe that they have some mental capacities.

On a scale of 1-10 the importance of athletes' opinion is a -4.

Unfortunately most pro athletes are unaware of the existence of negative numbers

We were on the moon several times not just once.

I read recently that the flat earth society is a conspiracy in an attempt to discredit viable conspiracies. Looks like it works.

Sure you guys all joke and downplay it. And I get it, certainly can be humorous. But if you're a major public figure with an image that directly affects your bottom line, saying anything even remotely controversial is a huge risk. Curry gained nothing by making this statement except the respect of free thinkers. Only someone values that would consider it a worthwhile venture.

Good for him.

Looks like '73. So we went a bunch of times way before the PC was even viable, but never since then?

Not a technological issue, guy. Money and priorities. Just like the 1964 model SR71 Blackbird. Built with the metal/fuels/instrumentation tech of the early 1960s, but still holds the record speed for manned jet aircraft.

Professional athletes (and other bimbos) should STFU already. Nobody cares what these brain-dead zombies think.

Seems convenient, that's all. Just like losing much of the original recording. Just like losing the blueprints and build documents, just like accidentally giving a country petrified wood and calling it a space rock. Just like having shitty photo imagery for the moon, but being able to see the dandruff on my scalp every time I walk outside.

Like many professional athletes, Curry is likely far too arrogant and cloistered in his own bubble to actually seriously consider the ramifications of saying shit like this. And notice I didn't say 'stupid'. Just seriously infatuated with his own bullshit.

And no, I doubt Curry garnered much respect from 'free thinkers' by spouting this nonsense. Questioning the veracity of the moon landings likely puts you in a category of people that can't really be reasoned with, so, I'll just leave it at that.

He got mine, and lot of others on r/conspiracy.

I would think the opposite would be true. Taking a hard line stance on anything usually means you won't be reasoned with. Questioning things means you're open to new ideas.

1972. I believe we landed 3 or 4 times in total. Moon Hoaxers have to prove all 3 or 4 landings were fake.

Additionally, there have been rovers and soft landings on the moon by probes from both the US, USSR, China, and either India or Japan. If you can soft land an automatic rover 3 days away, you can soft land people, 3 days away.

We will be going back to the moon within the next few years, I believe.

I remain skeptical as long as central government is the authority behind the info, and some of the other points that have been brought up are valid reasons to question the authenticity.

Liberal LARPERs are the only ones that make that claim.

Every Flat Earther that has ever come to GAB with that shit. I can goad them into going into a TDS rant by telling them Michelle Obama has Balls and Dick.
