Old comment. Depends on how she launders the money. She's rich. Think of Congress as the NBA. Let me know who is poor by any means in the NBA. How they use the money is a different question, but she's making other money in other manners due to position.

Also $150k or whatever it is salary, is about double the median family income as an individual. She's not poor and hotel and housing is paid for in DC when she's there. She's doing just fine. She doesn't pay for meals or travel. Campaign funds pay for that. People forget the perks. No healthcare costs. If she has a husband they're doing just fine. But even single a 1 bed condo solo is not that much on that wage.
