The Government shuts down in 3 weeks again. Nancy promised to negotiate. Will she keep her promise?
Remember, she nominated herself and had to beg for 32 more votes to be speaker. She didn't get it "In the Bag".
The Campaign is ongoing, and he's still harping on the wall despite 2 years of opportunities to distance himself. That means he's committed.
Many people think the key is getting SJWs and Islamists to fight. That's not the dividing line, the Left-Islamist alliance is decades old already, and they are united in destroying Western Civilization in order to create the conditions necessary for their various Universal Utopian Idealism. They can put their cognitive dissonance away and rationalize the Alliance as something like the US+USSR vs. the Nazis. The handful of rabid Islamists in Congress and in the Democratic Party isn't enough of a lever, anyway.
The Fault line is Neoliberals and SJWs/Islamists.
On Open Borders, the Neoliberals and SJW/Islamists are committed allies with the same goal. Just like SJWs and Fiscal Conservatives were allies in doing away with involuntary mental health incarceration
On Debt Forgiveness and the Banking System, Neoliberals and SJW-Islamists are committed opponents with opposite goals . SJW/Islamists want it socialized and/or destroyed; but it's a cornerstone of the coming Global Corporate Order for Neoliberals. To SJWs, it's a shot in getting their $100k in student debt for a Gender Degree forgiven; and a mark of evil capitalism; for Islamists interest is antithetical to Islam.
The Battle hasn't changed. It's a battle of moderation & nationalism against Utopian Ideologies: Post Modern Oppression Theory that wants to replace Whites and Males and Meritocracy with a "Victims"-ocracy mentality, Islamism which per Islam needs to conquer the world to bring in the Golden Age/the Millenia, and Neoliberalism which thinks it's going to create the Star Trek Federation World Government guided by Technocrats and Corporatists in order to save the Earth, Achieve Fusion Power, the Singularity, and other Techno-Utopian rot.
