I think the revelations from a Buzzfeed deep dive of their email server, will be damning against them all at ten times the magnitude of anything that Elon has put out.
They want this company shuttered, the email service ended, the server farm long disassembled and the drives wiped clean and sold on Ebay.

Yup looks like a site that isn't for making revenue. So ask yourself, why would the media take anything they report seriously, and furthermore why would the DOJ put any credibility into it?
They've been cited in several Government reports, DOJ reports, and Congressional reports, used as reported evidence against Trump in almost every legal entanglement that he has been through.

It's really easy to be more moral than a government employee. The reason I would never work for the government is that it would stain my soul, and I'm an atheist. Working for the government, you have to be a fucking bootlicker. I'd rather die on the streets than be one of them.
