The ME is a shit hole. I'd wait to make that judgement. Some power hungry MF'r (Erdogan) can come in and take control of a lot of things pretty quickly.
That said, I don't want our troops pissing around in an Islamic shit hole. Just let them kill each other. Can't Islam just get along... the answer is no. Honestly, let them get nukes. They're dumb enough to nuke each other. Come in later and grab the oil.
