Lots of them migrating down here in San Diego, probably because housing is cheap compared to anywhere N of San Clemente. I recently visited San Francisco and it seemed much more conservative than when I visited in the 90s. I'd be curious to know if there has actually been a demographic shift.

I also found it to be very clean, somewhat different than what I had been expecting from some Pat.net posts. The last time I visited, I really did see human shit all over the place. I think they have been trying to clean the place up and are slowly realizing their political ideology doesn't work in the real world.

I can't remember the documentary, but a journalist went through a crowded gay bar and asked at random how many had started gay sex as youngsters with older men. A majority of those he questioned said yes, and some stated they thought it was common knowledge that it was widespread. Male relatives were involved as well.

I've been playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla, in which the studly man character Eivor (you can make it a studly female amazon if you like) is offered gay liasons at certain juncture points, marked with a little heart on a dialog choice. They shoe horn in 'Negro Vikings', too, which is most LOL-able. The Assassin's Creed always make the 'dyke' military opponents much higher buffed than the male opponents so they are harder to defeat.

I'm now on Far Cry 6, about a guerrilla movement in a sort of Caribbean Island aka fake Cuba.
