Anyone wants to risk a bet on the eventual number of sick people? Dead people?

So the building was done in by Covid and not the AGW as initially asessed?

So the researchers divided the patients into four age ranges: 20-39, 40-59, 60-79, and over 80. They found that in the two younger groups - including adults up to age 60 - being obese was associated with nearly ALL the risk that Covid would lead to intensive care or death. The findings held even after they adjusted for many different potential confounding factors, like smoking, non-weight-related illnesses, and wealth.
In fact, the findings suggest that for people under 60, weight loss would be the single best way to reduce the risk of Covid - probably even more than a vaccine (and with no side effects).

How about that.

I've been saying it. The "science" has been overwhelming that being fat and sick can kill you. Most of these people likely would have died of some other condition anyway. This whole thing has been a joke. Healthy people don't die. Even average healthy people don't die. Fat people have heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, etc. So a mundane virus easily puts them over the edge.

I think this is obvious, but they have managed to override reason in most people by relentlessly promoting FEAR.

That promotion of fear for profit and power is a crime against humanity. Fauci in particular should bear responsibility for this crime.

Just returned from Europe.
US required negative COVID test from all not more than 3 days from flight. Full vaccination is not enough. Apparently CDC don't trust vaccination its recommend. In Europe is just fine with full vaccination.
The best part was, when a 100% people on plane were negatively tested, still face coverage was expected, just like we should afraid themselves.

That, and a couple of good TSA fistings, should remind you of your proper place in the Great Socialist Paradise. "Fully vaccinated and fully fisted. Do I still have to wear a mask and suffer travel restrictions?" Great Socialist Paradise: "We think you need a few more fistings, Comrade Schmuck, for asking such stupid questions."

Funny. He'll likely get charged with felony property damage if they had cameras in there. They likely do.

The hysterical part is that social distancing and masks by evidence and data did dick. You don't need to be a scientist to figure it out. Sad state of affairs.

Looks like we regularly have a spike in flu; notice 2015 and 2018. The Wuhan seems to have supplanted the flu.
2463   Ceffer   2021 Jul 12, 10:51pm

Covid didn't supplant the flu, it merely coopted the statistics of the flu. No more statistics left for the flu, itself. It seems likely that everything since Fall of 2020 has been fake news, fake tests, and fake Covid.

I am inclined to believe that herd immunity pretty much quenched Covid in 2020, and lots of people without even knowing it obtained immunity (80 percent of those who got it had only mild of no symptoms, indicating a pre-existing immunity from earlier strains). People who since then who got other nasty flus or colds were simply 'fake tested' as Covid to keep the fraud rolling.

Remember, there are still hundreds of other viruses around, Covid is just their invested publicity stunt for the vaccination agenda.

Not sure what you're asking for. These are just graphs of CDC stats.

That recent spike in "Symptoms, signs and abnormal clinical and laboratory findings, not elsewhere classified" deaths may be deaths from the Vax. It's rise corelates nicely with the increase in vaxxing. Notice in the graph that it starts to rise late last year, peaked with the vaccinations and is now falling because everyone that wants to get vaxxed is vaxxed.

It's also clear that the CCP virus, or something, caused a couple of serious spikes in death over the last year and a half. Which is what you would expect when a weaponized cold virus that escapes the lab or is released on purpose.

Don't have a link, but overheard on the nightly national news while doing stuff around the house that overdoses are up 35% or so in IL and I think they said it was low 3 figure increase (percentage wise) in Louisiana. Like 115% or something. Could have misheard as I wasn't actively watching. Those are staggering increases if true even on the low end. We live in a first world country. If there are increases they should be substantially less.

I still think we're a year or so away from the true fall out from this bull shit. We're in a state of affairs where I could have zero skills for the job and they'd hire me, yet there are millions of openings. Parents with jobs and kids are going to get checks for their kids that 90% of working parents qualify for. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/child-tax-credit-2021-payments-july-15-2021-07-14/

Up to $150k income for the full credit amount paid out monthly. If you were going to buy something expensive or book a vacation I'd get on top of it literally today, as in now. We've got leg two of this immediate inflation coming after we give people suffering with up to $150k income...lol $300 per kid a month. And yes, I know it will reduce their credit (though it was increased) at tax time, but it's massive printing. Infrastructure bill would benefit me financially, but not if we're giving perfectly capable working adults checks for their kids. The increase in income will just be eaten up by higher prices.

I read somewhere that there were three times as many fentanyl deaths in San Francisco than Fauci Flu deaths in 2020.

I've never understood opioids. Maybe I have a high pain threshold because it seems like a lot of addicts got hooked on them via some injury. I'm guessing back pain is a big contributor to the functional people that get hooked on them and destroy their lives literally and figuratively. Or when they were young and dumb.

I think we're too early in the game to understand the effects. I'd venture to guess long term opioid use is substantially worse for your organs than alcohol or tobacco. Alcohol at least has some redeeming qualities with the buzz if that's your thing within reason.

When I fractured my heel I'm not gonna lie, beer helped me get through the first day instead Tylenol or some other OTC drug that does similar damage to the liver. After that just normal consumption of 1-3 at night before bed to help this self diagnosed insomniac get to sleep. Big Pharma is gay, so I'm not taking sleeping pills that are likely as bad if not worse than a couple beers. I've known 2 people my age personally that have died from opioid OD's. Too young... We need to stop throwing pills at mundane ailments.
2474   Patrick   2021 Jul 14, 6:10pm

I highly recommend Indica edibles if you want to sleep. Almost always works for me. 5mg is plenty for that.

I've read that opioids in themselves cause no serious harm directly, Keith Richards being a living example. (OK, he doesn't look that good, but he never did.) He's been on heroin since before most of us were born. The problem is the OD's and the germs from non-sterile injections. And of course the fact that you get hooked and suffer greatly if you can't get your drug. And that they make you constipated and impotent.

As silly as it sounds I've been getting hung over when I do edibles. I just did some out at Red Rocks in CO in late June for a concert. Yes I was drinking more than usual, but I puked the next morning and it's not the first time for that when I've had edibles.

I like the feeling when it kicks in, for some reason my body metabolizes it weird or something and I feel like absolute shit the next morning. Depends on the brand I think too. I've done 30mg at a show in Missoula, MT and lost my shit that night mixed with heavy craft beer, but woke up okay. I literally couldn't speak and just fell onto the bed. 2019 I think, so somewhat recent. Drove back to Spokane next morning a little out of it and tired, but not hung over in my world. And before anyone gets all high and mighty, these are one off events that usually involve seeing my buddies that moved out to MT 1-2 times a year out west.

I don't get hangovers from beer, which is all I drink as far as alcohol goes. I can smoke pot just fine though. It's weird. Only time I'm kind of okay is when it's just a straight edible and nothing else. I've never been that into weed though either. I wear contacts and it dries the fuck out of my eyes and classic dry mouth. It's honestly not that fun. Or not as fun as when I was younger. It will make you go to sleep for sure with the right strain. I just don't want to rely on it. Legal weed is double street prices here. So dealing is still going strong here in IL and I don't have a trustworthy dealer I'd eat baked goods or gummies from.
2477   Patrick   2021 Jul 14, 7:08pm

You know, sometimes I have that weed-hangover feeling too. I worry it may be related to the butane they often use to extract the THC. But most of the time it's no problem. Planning to go back to making my own edibles soon so I know exactly what is in them.

Another weird thing: if I drink a glass of red wine at lunch, it's fine, but if I have the same glass in the evening, I'll wake up feeling hung over later, even from just one glass. Doesn't happen with white wine or beer, only red wine and only in the evening.
