They let him just return home, despite being inebriated on an "Unknown Substance" in a room with three baggies of crystal meth and an overdosing person.
I'm sure the Mayor/Prosecutors/Police Chief intervened.

Dark Deep Blue Miami Beach Government had Police send him home, despite being found in a room with crystal meth and too inebriated to communicate with several other dudes, all heavily intoxicated and vomiting.
Of course, they are saving him for later like running again for Governor of Florida or running for Senator

Dyson’s Instagram handle is also linked to a profile on Rent Men, where he described himself as “Brodie Scott,” “pornstar performer” who offered “gay massage.” Multiple pornographic videos of Dyson and his boyfriend/fiance, (Instagram handle @lvbrazil), were posted to that site and even to Twitter. (Note: Those links are very NSFW.) Those have all been deleted as of Friday afternoon. On a fan thread referencing Dyson’s Rent Men profile, there is a photo of Dyson in his scrubs.

Only males were present in the room.
Police were apparently summoned due to a welfare check another occupant of the room who was overdosing on crystal Meth.
Gillum's explanation was that he was there for a wedding (in the middle of the week) and only drank too much, despite being in the same room with overdosing meth heads.
It's racist to mention or investigate this story, by the way.
