Remind him that in CA it's perfectly legal to give someone AIDS, but not OK to potentially give someone a flu that they have a >99% chance of surviving.

Cognitive behavioral therapy. He's got to break the TDS circuit. Unfortunately at this time, face to face therapy with a professional is not possible, but you could perhaps find some online resources to try a few things. (Full disclosure: It helped me with similar helpless rage issues.)

I find only a new source can reach those afflicted with TDS, that are friends and loved ones. You can't reach or teach them if you've known them for years

Lol I first thought this was about CV-19. But CNN induced TDS is much worse for your body.

Or just taking a day off from CNN if it's the internet. He might notice that he's much happier without CNN.

That’s all I can think of. With children its easy, you just redirect them to productive behavior. With adults, especially unrelated once, that I don’t know how to do.

A lot of my friends and family have TDS as well. I've also seen the same thing on the other end. My MIL is hopelessly addicted to Fox News. She won't take any phone calls at certain times of the day because she has to watch her Fox News. Then, she goes nuts. We were contemplating having an intervention with her because it's not healthy. With respect to TDS, I just can't intervene with anyone. They are so irrational that it's just hopeless.

It was because they met a new person, who's opinion and logic they trust, told them the same thing I had been telling them for several years. They call me up one day out of the blue, red pilled as fuck, telling me about their new friend. And get this, they can talk pro Trump with that friend, but still get irate when you bash Liberals, and Democrats and talk Pro Trump.
BUT! When the new variable is introduced in the same environment as me and my known TDS associate, that TDS associate becomes Pro Trump agreeable again.
It's like some people can't think for them selves, or be honest with themselves or you.

I feel bad, like losing a pretty normal neighbor to liberal media bullshit. He isn’t focusing on his life or kids anymore, just cnn and random anti trump mental drug doses. His kids are neglected, he is putting on weight. Anyone has advice on getting him back to normal?
He can’t be the only one like that.
