Incredible video shows how quickly an armed confrontation can go south. Two @Chicago_Police officers, including the one who's wearing the camera that filmed this video, were shot. So was the gunman. All survived.

The really surprising thing here is that the thug does not look black. It is an indisputable fact that the majority of gun violence is committed by black men, though this is thoroughly censored by the MSM.

“He busted the windows out with both hands. The first thing that comes to my mind is to grab my pistol and shoot him one time,” the homeowner said.

The homeowner said instead of backing down, the would-be intruder became even more aggressive.

“Came right back in through that window again. I didn’t know if he had something or not because everything happened so fast. After I shot him twice, he left and I didn’t come out the door anymore,” the homeowner said.

The soon-to-be 75-year-old victim said he called the police and waited for them to arrive. Police said they found the suspect collapsed outside of the front window.

“He was face down, somewhat, and I didn’t even walk over there to him,” the homeowner said.

He said he recently borrowed the pistol he used from his friend, hoping to avoid another break-in after being held up in his other house next door several years ago.

A homeowner shot a man he claimed was attempting to break into his car in the early morning hours, according to Houston police.

The suspect was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

It was the latest incident where a vehicle owner stopped an attempted theft with gunfire.



And another one: HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- A man attempting to break into a car at a northwest Harris County motel Saturday night was shot by the vehicle's owner, deputies said.

It happened around 11:00 p.m. in the 11700 block of Veterans Memorial near Milroy at the Palace Inn motel.
The break-in was thwarted by the owner when he came out to confront the man, Harris County sheriff's deputies said. Words were exchanged between the two before the owner opened fire on the suspect.

He was taken to a hospital in serious condition.

The incident was one of at least two in the Houston area where criminal suspects were shot by owners. In Pearland, a homeowner shot a suspect who broke in to their home and attacked two people with a hammer, police said. Three people were hospitalized in that incident.

seriously though homeowners shooting intruders is now a daily occurrence in Houston. I suspect intruders have migrated to Texas from CA or IL, and don't realize that most locals pack serious arsenals.
