Patrick, since you have a forum, try posting about Quercetin instead of HCQ

Seriously, why all is talk about something, which for the most part, is not available if one doesn't have rheumatoid arthritis?

In place of that, give some encouraging words about Quercetin so that ppl can load up on a supplement which can help with this problem and that's that Fauci doesn't want any discussion about zinc ionospheres and only wants to promote his vax program and Gilead's remdesivir.

@Rin I'd be grateful for links to studies showing it works or doesn't. Or even links to explanations of why it should work.

The one thing that HCQ has right now is https://c19study.com/ which really does provide overwhelming evidence that it does work if given early.

Quercetin is in clinical trials, according to https://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04377789

Also, "Montreal Researchers propose a [quercetin] treatment for COVID-19":

Doctors Michel Chrétien and Majambu Mbikay, senior researchers at the Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM), have proposed the use of a plant-based compound called quercetin to treat COVID-19. Clinical trials to test its effectiveness are scheduled to start in China within the next few weeks.

Chrétien and Mbikay say that quercetin, which some research suggests can protect against the Ebola and Zika viruses, may be able to treat the coronavirus. Working with Chinese health officials, they will supervise clinical trials for testing the drug on patients in China. They will use the drug produced by the Swiss company Quercegen Pharmaceuticals, which, according to Chrétien, produces the purest available quercetin. The trials will last around four months.

From the literature,

Zinc ionophore activity of quercetin and epigallocatechin-gallate

"Labile zinc, a tiny fraction of total intracellular zinc that is loosely bound to proteins and easily interchangeable, modulates the activity of numerous signaling and metabolic pathways. Dietary plant polyphenols such as the flavonoids quercetin (QCT) and epigallocatechin-gallate act as antioxidants and as signaling molecules. Remarkably, the activities of numerous enzymes that are targeted by polyphenols are dependent on zinc. We have previously shown that these polyphenols chelate zinc cations and hypothesized that these flavonoids might be also acting as zinc ionophores, transporting zinc cations through the plasma membrane. To prove this hypothesis, herein, we have demonstrated the capacity of QCT and epigallocatechin-gallate to rapidly increase labile zinc in mouse hepatocarcinoma Hepa 1-6 cells as well as, for the first time, in liposomes."

Looks like someone already has.

In addition to the ionophore activity, in general, quercetin is good for one's health as an anti-inflammatory and an antioxidant.

And in this case, we don't need to wait for the Montreal study to complete because one can buy it from any vitamin vendor anywhere.

Let's face it, we're all wasting time, My crew has started supplementing with it a year ago and so far, no one's gotten a cold or flu, nevermind the Covid.

Add to it, Raw Oysters (best source of Zinc), Allisure's Allicin (Garlic's active ingredient isolated), Turmeric w/ Peppercorn, and R-Lipoic Acid (Thiotic Acid) and it's highly likely that you won't get sick at all.

@Rin what's the daily dosage your crew is taking?
6   Rin   2020 Aug 1, 2:14pm

It's R-Lipoic Acid at (~200 mg/day), Turmeric w/ peppercorn (not standardized as each have their own favorite vendor), Quercetin (split into 2, 250 mg servings, day vs evening), Allisure's Allicin (from Garlic, 150 mg/day), and I'm not sure about the Zinc since I don't have a favorite way of getting it aside from Oysters.

I am planning to supplement with Quercitin, Zinc, and Vitamin D when I return to the classroom in a month.

Quercitin is a Zinc ionophore and doctors have been using it in place of HCQ if they are unable to get HCQ to the patient. The research on it in combination with Zinc is here as far as uptake is concerned.

Zinc inhibits RNA polymerase so it naturally slows the production of the coronavirus.

I had decided to go with this regiment after this Medcram video.

I'm not sure any of this matters because I am almost positive I had it mid February. Many of my coworkers tested positive and many of my students tested positive for antibodies. I also had cafeteria duty so I was in the room with 300 kids at the peak of the spread here. I also tutored a kid while his parents appeared to be on their deathbed coughing from 20 feet away in February. The school is in a train town not far from NYC and pretty much all their parents commute into the city. If the illness I had in mid to late Feb was in fact Coronavirus, I don't fear the reinfection at all. It was a joke and it gave me a fever and no appetite for 3 days. That's it. I still did everything I wanted to that weekend.

Here's the thing oakman, the moment I heard about the use of HCQ, now some 4+ mos ago, I immediately added the extra 250 mg of Quercetin to my diet, since I already have 250 mg in my daily vitamin cocktail so that I have a full day's dosage, covering morning and night.

For me, the leap from the 'Trump pill' to something which does the same thing, without an Rx, was a simple pub med search and yet, NO ONE I knew (outside of my guinea pigs), did the same thing. And that's why this whole pandemic is such a joke. Instead of taking action, people, YES, including those with degrees from Harvard & Columbia, sat around, did nothing and waited for Fauci, Brix, and Gates to tell 'em what to do.

Seriously, is this the 'American way'?

What's so amazing about the regimen is that most of my so-called subjects, have had very few spring allergy symptoms just by loading up on the Quercetin. In other words, it's got a medicinal effect, along with the turmeric w/ peppercorn, as a general anti-inflammatory.

Florida’s new surgeon general, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, has issued a statewide public service announcement in support of commonsense COVID prevention strategies such as optimizing your vitamin D, staying active, eating nutrient-dense foods, and boosting your immune system with supplements.

Florida Health’s HealthierYouFL.org website now urges Floridians to “Talk to your health care provider about how certain supplements or foods containing vitamins and minerals might help boost your immune system, such as zinc, vitamin D, vitamin C and quercetin.” These are all well-known supplements that have been shown to have a positive impact on your COVID-19 risk.

Staying active is probably the most important take away Patrick. The other stuff isn’t bad though. I was down for a bit but when I started lifting weights again (light and high rep) I started feeling better. Still listened to the body when tired and slept a lot too.

Our entire core group of friends has tested positive the last month. Over the last week with Xmas we’re talking 50 new cases of people I personally know and communicate with. Legit flash bang of cases. I personally only know of one doctor visit, no hospitalization and no deaths.

Covid is nothing for those that aren’t close to death. Food poisoning could likely kill the people that it’s killing.
