The new congress can't retaliate on the previous administration or term. If they were going to impeach they have to do it now, they can't wait until after he's been elected, then want to do shit based on what happened last term.

I think this is all about keeping Trump from firing crooked bad cops, and putting in real lawmen. That was why Trump went along with the Sessions scam. Now everything is out and on the table, they would have one hell of a time pulling that off. Because the shit they have done is no longer a conspiracy theory.

Impeachments are rare, I don't think no President would legitimize a bullshit impeachment like that.

Remember a sitting President has never been impeached and removed before. Nixon was a pussy and left before the Senate could vote on it. He basically put up no fight at all. But back then people had more honor than today. And expected any scandal would and should ruin them. So they would chose to bail than ride it out. .
If Nixon's time was now, he would have not resigned. And no authority in Washington would have had a big enough Dick to make him leave. That my friend is why the Liberal media is terrified of the phrase "A Constitutional Crissis" When they hype anything Trump does. Because they know at most all Congress can do, is jump and down and throw a hissey fit, and throw feces.

Because impeachment for the President has no more weight than the Admonishment Charlie Rangle got for his high crimes and misdemeanors. Everyone said... "Now get out of HERE! See next Monday!"

It's a slap on the wrist and that's all an Impeachment is. If the sitting President commits a Felony, the FBI and DOJ will handle it, not the Political body.
Pissing off Nancy Pelosi, Nadler and Schiff, is not a Felony. Asking Putin to open an investigation into the previous administration is not a Felony. It's a political move, just like impeachment is.

If you remember before the 2018 election the 2016 was cooking up a new fantasy everyday to impeach Trump.
The 2018 Congress had to wait for a new reason, and no real legitimate ones came along, so they cooked up one.
Lets say Covid got in the way and the impeachment didn't happen this year. Do you believe the 2020 Congress could legally pick it up?

It's not, but I say let them try to impeach when Trump gets elected again. As an independent I'm getting sick of this shit and it's why I'm voting for Trump. And he's done some good things not getting us into wars for starters over the last 3.9 years. Biden can't even speak. It's going to be a landslide for Trump. And if on the backside Democrats want to keep fucking around with impeachment, their party will be destroyed and need a ground up rebuild.

Most everyone I know is just sick of this shit. Besides Covid, not his fault, Trump's term has been good for everybody willing to try. The lazy people and bums will obviously vote for handouts and that's hard to change. But I look back at the first debate and think about Biden. What are his policies? It was Trump is bad and I'll do better. No substance.

The left is more offended that Trump interrupted Biden and argued with Chris Wallace than the plan to pack the supreme court.
