The whole Vote By Mail Plan backfired, Pelosi was bitching about it today.

Florida confirms this, Republicans are ahead of where they were in 2016 in both Broward and MDC and several other swing or heavy Dem Counties in Florida. Philly is way down in voting too as are several other deep dark blue localities.

It finally occurred to me that Democrats were so gung-ho about voting by mail because they know their base is so terrified of the mostly imaginary threat from Wuhan virus that they may not go vote in person, while Republicans don't worry about it so much.

This. It's why I won't even talk to someone that has a mask and face shield on at the same time. It's like having the word leftist tattooed to your forehead. Hell, half of them are probably afraid of the mail because someone touched it. I actually know one person well that was wiping down their mail and groceries. She's calmed down now but was crazy about Covid at first.

The mail in thing is going to backfire though. I'm smart enough to figure out how to get a mail in ballot (too late now). You think the poor inner city folks that can barely read, write or type are going to figure it out? Now factor in the ones that are scared of Wuhan and you have a recipe for disaster for the Dems. And yes, a lot of white trash folks blindly vote Republican, but they're not afraid to go in person. They live in a dirty ass trailer.

The flip side is that millions of people in many states were mailed a ballot automatically; then, a week later, vote-harvesters come around and collect the ballots — no need to fill them in. Pennsylvania, recently, declared that non-matching signatures are not a problem.
