I believe Tucker admitted on his show a few weeks ago that he knew Hunter personally from the neighborhood and said he was personally a good guy to his family, acknowledging that he struggled with addiction problems.
I don't think anyone can really claim that Tucker went soft on the whole Biden corruption story this past month. He just didn't focus too hard on Hunter's drug and sex pictures, and focused more on the payments secured for his dad.
