Touching your mask in between errands defeats some of the purpose of the mask if you touch your face with covid virus.

If I’m out doing errands and driving from groceries store to the post office and to go to pickup food only a 1 mile round trip... it makes sense to leave the mask on. Touching your mask in between errands defeats some of the purpose of the mask if you touch your face with covid virus.
In Japan, more people died from suicide last month than from Covid in all of 2020...
Japan is one of the few major economies to disclose timely suicide data -- the most recent national data for the US, for example, is from 2018. The Japanese data could give other countries insights into the impact of pandemic measures on mental health, and which groups are the most vulnerable.
"We didn't even have a lockdown, and the impact of Covid is very minimal compared to other countries ... but still we see this big increase in the number of suicides," said Michiko Ueda, an associate professor at Waseda University in Tokyo, and an expert on suicides.
"That suggests other countries might see a similar or even bigger increase in the number of suicides in the future."

I think there is some cultural reason for why COVID seems to create such a problem here -- I know that Vietnam has not had even one death from it, it is minor in N Zealand, in Denmark they don't even wear masks and closely socialize, and yet have little trouble
I know P may not agree, but I still entertain suspicions that the US government released it like in /The Stand/, and the reason I think this view viable (thought certainly NOT proven) is because ALL of the benefits from the pandemic run to the elites and one-percenters, and every one else is fucked under by it
It is a serious illness but it's clearly overhyped here.

The problem is, there's no way of telling how serious. Really. The lies, incentives, force and misinformation point toward a hoax. I do believe it is pretty serious for the elderly but, COME ON MAN, still 94%(?) of the elderly live to tell about it even.
since NZ, Europe and US are extremely close genetics wise.
Dying on a ventilator after being intubated has to be a terrible way to die. I think a lot of fear stems from that procedure being hammered into people’s minds.
Your immune system needs a work out... so wearing a “dirty” mask for a healthy person is probably good and has some benefits.
