It is stating that they would like a higher standard of proof before passing judgment that it is true, and not just another source of disinformation. They certainly are not denying rampant election fraud. I think it is fine that they want a higher standard of proof. I would like that, too, but there is a video of the Italian lawyer himself reciting the contents of the affidavit (apparently one of the top lawyers in Italy). There are also pictures of MI6/CIA personnel who they allege were involved. Those tend to raise the standard above mere gossip and misdirection.
