A lot of great immigrants came to this country at the turn of the last Century. They had to conform, and they went on to be our great innovators and business leaders.

This past week we've had quite a set back. I post my thoughts on it, and he then came to my thread to implore me to see a sliver lining with defeatist bullet points.
Then lectured me on how Americans fucked up America. Like Kooter and Kyle called up the State department and told them to sign them up to globalization and catch and release.
If he can lecture me on what it is to be American, looking like that, then everyone should understand, my first Amendment right to comment on it.
I think he understand that. I didn't disrespect his religion, and didn't say he doesn't have to right to not assimilate.

It's what makes up our system and makes it so special. But when one group can can tell another group what is America and how they screwed it up, with total disregard for any consideration how it would perceived by that person.
