License plate 8STY826 it looks like.

But crime in SF isn't punished anymore anyway.

Surprising, but I reported a homeless camp starting up in a creek gully under a road by where we live in Santa Cruz in a forested area. I walk by frequently and watched it grow from the founding 'mayor', a bearded Hispanic guy who I also saw in a nearby park utilizing the facilities. Over a couple of months, more voices and tents in the underbrush as the little homeless group grew. Also they started the standard bicycle chop shop. I knew the drugs sales came in when I saw the clusters of homeless and hobos coming and going in the area and I had to walk through these groups to get by. Of course they were spewing all of their trash and throwaways out onto the roadway.

I thought the police would ignore me, but I said they were going to set the place on fire that would run up the gully and threaten close by homes. They were also stealing stuff from the county yard across the street. I saw a piece of machinery at the entrance to the camp, which eventually they pushed down into it.

Surprise, surprise, they cleaned the homeless out of there. It looks like they are in the process of cleaning out all the trash. The homeless abandon all kinds of trash and belongings, like clothes, tents and sleeping bags because they know they can always get more from the do-gooder social services scam.

Must be less than $950.

Likely a stolen car or stolen plates. Common.

What was the item that was kicked out of the back door onto the ground just before the breakin? Looked kinda like a Pad device - maybe they can't fence it?

Another brick I believe.

This is more than a simple auto break-in; more an armed or invasion robbery. The brick constitutes deadly weapon.

Barghabany said they were robbed of "the most expensive stuff" they had, including $7,000 in cameras and a drone.

Sounds like these robbers were tipped off that these people had loot, or maybe they just saw them using the cameras minutes before they drove off, where they then followed the car.

I gotta say, I'm impressed - it looked like 4 seconds flat from broken glass to back in the car with the loot.

Yes, almost supernaturally fast.

Meth power!

Wow! That's like some of the brazen break-in video from 3rd-world countries. Oh... San Francisco. Nevermind.

This calls for 2-day jail time. Or is that too harsh?

White on white crime, so either 1) who cares or 2) lifetime imprisonment. Depends how each of them voted actually.
