But people tend to project their own desires onto others. Women want successful men, so they think men want successful women. But they're wrong about that.

Men are very much into women's looks, so men think women care a lot about men's looks. But women don't care much what you look like. Maybe a little, but nothing compared to how successful and confident you are.

Second, I think this quote explains the curious lack of logic among liberals.

If an argument makes them feel bad, they forget the logic and just remember feeling bad.
If an argument is demonstrably wrong but makes them feel good, they remember the false logic as being true, because it made them feel good.
