That is PRECISELY right I believe.

I've been on the Internet since 1989. I was shocked to discover Creationists actually existed 30 years ago, through the Internet, or that people actually seriously denied that the US ever landed on the moon - but there were no "flat earthers" until around 2010 and on. That group was artificially started. There may be a FEW people who actually believe the Earth is flat, but most people who claim to believe it, obviously do not.

The "flat earthers" I think were created simply to attack people who are (more and more frequently) catching the government in lies in real time.

Sure, Bush lied and blamed Saddam so that he could have a justification for invading Iraq, but then why didn't he just arrange Iraqi hijackers to begin with?

Don't make the assumption that the US intelligence agencies did this, or that the US government or intelligence agencies are monolithic.

Consider this, as a possibility - that groups within foreign intelligence agencies like Mossad, Mi6, as well as internal like CIA and FBI conspired to do 9/11 - and then once it was done, covered it up.

You cannot know the full motivations or what happened - what you can know, is when you've been lied to. I know for certain the US government's account on 9/11 is CERTAINLY a lie. It isn't your responsibility to figure out the truth. All you need to know is IF the government lied. If they lied, you must demand to know why they lied.

I have less and less faith in our intelligence agencies and government. They are directly attacking this nation and have been for a long time. The intelligence agencies betrayed our Constitution, I'm comfortable stating our last election was stolen, and it's perfectly obvious it was. It's plain that the people who run this nation, intend to keep the US at war, forever. We haven't had a legitimate government in decades and our criminal intelligence agencies, are completely criminal. I view our government at this point, as simply a criminal syndicate, because when I view it this way, EVERYTHING they do makes sense.

We both live and work in Silicon Valley - did you ever expect to see Google betraying its userbase? Did you expect them to promote propaganda ever? Did you expect them to engage in censorship? But they do. If billion dollar company can be forced (or convinced) to alienate 1/2 the country, who is doing that? Who has that kind of power? Look how brazenly our news media and government now lies to us. What I have concluded is the line between government and "private" corporations are gone and our government is an oligarchy.

I didn’t see it until I read about them building censorship tools for China. At that point I knew that sooner or later they’d use it in US on us. Nobody builds stuff to not use themselves.

That was their motto UNTIL they became a subsidiary of Alphabet. When they became (somehow) a child company of Alphabet, I figured they were taken over by the intelligence agencies which they are. It's not even a question at this point. Google is no longer useful for information.

Haha, they aren't even close to being that. Amazon is worse than them - they are trying to become a single monopoly to sell EVERYTHING. They are heavily subsidized by the government. Amazon is essentially a government sanctioned monopoly that has been created to destroy small business.

This is silly to attempt. In China, there is no freedom of speech - for us to lose it here, we have to WILLINGLY give it up. People REALLY don't have any concept of how much power they have available to them.
