I haven't been following all that closely, but I think he gets off. (Mostly peaceful) riots to follow... 😞

The defense asked for a mistrial, the trial judge refused to do justice (by declaring a mistrial), instead laying out clear grounds for a later appeal.
Here is the judge specifically calling out "a congresswoman" for "not respecting the co-equal branches of government" and not respecting the defendant's constitutional right (to a fair trial). Ouch.

The judge said he instructed the jury to not watch the news. Well, that's maybe OK in the 20th century, but people get their "news" from twitter, facebook, and even patnet! Protesters in front of the courthouse. Jury members talking with friends and family nightly. Seems like fertile grounds for an appeal.

Former Officer Embarrasses Race-Baiting BBC While Discussing Chauvin Verdict
"Policing in America is not inherently racist, we don't live in a racist county."
Former police officer Brandon Tatum contradicted the offered racial narrative during an appearance on the BBC while discussing the verdict in the case of former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin.

I would totally vote for Brandon Tatum.

I would too, but I still plan to check to see if black people live in an area before I move into it from now on. Because I don't know which are the good ones and the bad ones are unbearable.

This is really the essence of what is being called "racism" in America: the desire to protect yourself from violent black people.

If you live near a lot of black people, you at least an order of magnitude more likely to be violently assaulted than if you do not live near a lot of black people.

The majority of black people would not hurt you, but a large enough number would that you are in serious danger simply by living near them.

This is doubly true for Asian-Americans. Most (all?) of the recent assaults on Asians were by blacks.

@Fortwayemobile that's exactly what I saw before I made that decision/comment. Straw that broke the camel's back so to speak.
