Facemasks in the COVID-19 era: A health hypothesis
Baruch Vainshelboim⁎

Abstract
Many countries across the globe utilized medical and non-medical facemasks as non-pharmaceutical intervention for reducing the transmission and infectivity of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19). Although, scientific evidence supporting facemasks’ efficacy is lacking, adverse physiological, psychological and health effects are established. Is has been hypothesized that facemasks have compromised safety and efficacy profile and should be avoided from use. The current article comprehensively summarizes scientific evidences with respect to wearing facemasks in the COVID-19 era, providing prosper information for public health and decisions making. ...

Conclusion
The existing scientific evidences challenge the safety and efficacy of wearing facemask as preventive intervention for COVID-19. The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects. These include hypoxia, hypercapnia, shortness of breath, increased acidity and toxicity, activation of fear and stress response, rise in stress hormones, immunosuppression, fatigue, headaches, decline in cognitive performance, predisposition for viral and infectious illnesses, chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Long-term consequences of wearing facemask can cause health deterioration, developing and progression of chronic diseases and premature death. Governments, policy makers and health organizations should utilize prosper and scientific evidence-based approach with respect to wearing facemasks, when the latter is considered as preventive intervention for public health.

No matter how you slice this, Fauci lied multiple times about masks. If what he’s saying privately in this email is true (and it is), masks don’t work anyway, so why would first responders need huge amounts of them? Given that, his later claim that he was initially lying to the American people for the virtuous reason of protecting first responders is also a lie.

Further, Fauci piled more lies on top of his previous lies, when he changed his public position to being pro-mandatory masking. He’s been lying from the beginning, carefully shifting his positions to match what the left-wing politics of the day demanded. Past that, pushing masking the way he did gave cover to him and his political allies. While Trump was correctly skeptical of masks, Fauci used them as a bludgeon in the public sphere, pretending as if every failure was the result of not enough masking.

Eventually, as RedState has extensively reported, the data would come out, starting late summer of 2020, that masks were largely ineffective. The most recent study on the efficacy of mask-mandates, released just in the last few weeks, came to the conclusion that they made no real difference at all. In other words, the thing Fauci put the most stock in and lied his butt off about — he was wrong about.

In short, there are two parts to this. One, Fauci is a lying liar who lied. He did so to elevate his own profile and has now cashed out millions of dollars as a result. Two, those of us here at RedState and elsewhere who questioned the science of mask-wearing early on were right. Vindication is here for those who were brave enough to stand up and say none of this makes sense.

My girlfriend got our school district to do away with masks!
posted 10 hours ago by Agallagher410 +2475 / -1
I've never been more proud. Our son got home from field day yesterday and nearly passed out because they made them "cool off" in their hot gym with their masks on. His face was bright red, he was severely dehydrated and basically incoherent. Long story short, my girlfriend contacted the superintendent, the principal, posted on her social media, threatened lawsuits, basically started a "revolution" with other parents to contact the school district and hours later the superintendent sent out a notice to all parents that masks will no longer be required. Let her inspire everyone to be a voice, never give up and fight like hell! Don't let tyranny rule. So proud of my girl!!! Our kids do NOT belong in masks.

Side note...today is the Primary for Governor in NJ and I cannot wait to vote our dictating lying democratic ruler out of office!!! Between getting rid of mask mandates and having a voice, we are feeling HIGH ENERGY in Northern NJ! Just wanted to post how proud I am of my girl and to hopefully inspire others to never stop fighting for our freedoms! Let freedom ring!!!

Maher went on to cite a Gallup poll on attitudes regarding the continuance of mask-wearing going forward, which showed that a huge majority of Republicans believe people who are vaccinated, healthy, and not showing symptoms should “lead their normal lives.”

Meanwhile, said the host, “71 percent of Democrats: stay home. Keep cowering,” Maher said.

“I see people on the street walking outside with a mask on, like you f**king moron! I just want to shout at them outside the car, you’re a moron! You never could get it outside, really, and you’re alone walking on the street with a mask?” he said.

Maher gets it right occasionally. Though I do believe he plays both sides to try and increase viewership and not seem hardcore left. Not sure if that's the case here as masks are completely disappearing now the people have been "vaccinated." So even some on the left would agree with him.

His views aside I can't stand his face and voice. So he's always been unwatchable to me.

Right now America is intoxicated on masking 2 year olds outside and inside ('cept when they nap - virus naps too)

Soon we will be sober and look at what have we done.

It won't age well, I promise.

In the realm of science and public-health policy outside the U.S., the implications of these particular findings are not exactly controversial. Many of America’s peer nations around the world — including the U.K., Ireland, all of Scandinavia, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Italy — have exempted kids, with varying age cutoffs, from wearing masks in classrooms. Conspicuously, there’s no evidence of more outbreaks in schools in those countries relative to schools in the U.S., where the solid majority of kids wore masks for an entire academic year and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

That's a good video from Mrs. Kelly. I looked up the recommendation she gave to Stephen Petty and found a good video he posted on Covid-19 viron size vs masks. CDC, MSM, et all go on and on about "droplets", but aerosols contain >99.9% of the viral load, which the masks cannot stop. Indoors, they linger in the air for hours to days depending on ventilation, making the 6ft rule pointless.

You can find his other videos at:

He's got another where he says he got covid (despite taking vit D, C, zinc, plus he's vaccinated) and figured he got it from a plane trip where they made him replace his respirator mask with a lousier one. He describes how the health care system effectively abandons Covid patients until they are nearly beyond help.

I don't think the virus survives that long though. You don't get infected from somebody who was indoors hours ago unless there is something you touch that encapsulated it long enough. Surviving just in the aerosols alone for hours and staying infectious rarely happens.

In sunlight, the virus is killed quickly by UV. Around 20 seconds, if I recall. Without that, I do not know how long it can last. I've heard days, but there are so many lies, it is hard to know for sure.

I strongly suspect that this is a deliberate policy to increase deaths so as to keep the fear going, sell more jabs, and increase Pfizer profits.

Horse shit. What he really meant was "We had hoped to see the new statewide masking mandate get ahead of the upcoming natural flattening of the rate of infection, and thus take credit for what would happen anyway. But the curve did not flatten and it embarrassed us by confirming the ineffectiveness of masks."

In other words, the genocide has begun. Wait till they really unleash the beast system of tyranny and oppression. Only those who submit will be considered worthy, but even then not even the sheep will be safe from the slaughter. We are not even as valuable as cattle in the eyes of Bill Gates and Klaus Schwab and their globalist cabal members.

Yeah the days is a maximum and it assumes it has a surface to latch onto, plastic, cardboard etc. It's unlikely that sars cov2 has much staying power in aerosols from all the studies done, and even if so the half life under optimal conditions is around one hour. It's possible in a place with zero ventilation but most stores and venues have some form of ventilation. But the safest way is to do everything outdoors. Keep in mind that the majority of transmissions are within family, restaurants made up less than 2%, so I assume stores even far less.

The Philly naked bike ride required masks this year

The whole point of a naked bike ride is to throw off the shackles of authority and celebrate the freedom of the human body and spirit.

Unless, of course, your free-spirited nudity goes against the moral edicts of our new woke religion and the patron saint of masks, St. Anthony Fauci.

In THAT case, you have to celebrate throwing off your shackles by literally muzzling your face.

You may be wondering how a thin cloth mask could possibly play any difference in viral spread when you're riding outdoors at 30mph with your bits and kibble flapping freely in the wind.

Your problem is that you have a functioning brain.
To save the public conscience from the horrors of woke bodies bouncing on bicycles, I will spare you of the video of the actual event.

Sufficed to say, however, the majority of participants strapped a face diaper on as they let the rest of their bodies hang out for the world to see.

https://notthebee.com/article/forbes-just-memory-holed-an-article-it-published-by-a-child-trauma-expert-warning-of-the-alleged-risks-of-school-mask-mandates

Sep 1st, 2021 12:13 pm
A few weeks ago Forbes published an article by teacher and Columbia University Ph.D student Zack Ringelstein, warning about the harms of mask mandates for kids:

"Masks and social distancing induce trauma and trauma at a young age is developmentally dangerous, especially for children who are experiencing trauma in other parts of their lives."

In the essay, Ringelstein also argued that "children in masks who are socially distanced are more likely to lead a sedentary lifestyle at school and home, and therefore are also more likely to become both obese and depressed" and that "children in masks are also likely to miss out on critical language development, another fundamental area of growth in early years."

It was a bracing article, notable for its unvarnished assertions about school mask mandates at a time when questioning those mandates is professionally and personally risky.

It would appear that Forbes belatedly decided the same thing, because as of Wednesday, the article is... gone.
