Facemasks in the COVID-19 era: A health hypothesis
Baruch Vainshelboim⁎

Abstract
Many countries across the globe utilized medical and non-medical facemasks as non-pharmaceutical intervention for reducing the transmission and infectivity of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19). Although, scientific evidence supporting facemasks’ efficacy is lacking, adverse physiological, psychological and health effects are established. Is has been hypothesized that facemasks have compromised safety and efficacy profile and should be avoided from use. The current article comprehensively summarizes scientific evidences with respect to wearing facemasks in the COVID-19 era, providing prosper information for public health and decisions making. ...

Conclusion
The existing scientific evidences challenge the safety and efficacy of wearing facemask as preventive intervention for COVID-19. The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects. These include hypoxia, hypercapnia, shortness of breath, increased acidity and toxicity, activation of fear and stress response, rise in stress hormones, immunosuppression, fatigue, headaches, decline in cognitive performance, predisposition for viral and infectious illnesses, chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Long-term consequences of wearing facemask can cause health deterioration, developing and progression of chronic diseases and premature death. Governments, policy makers and health organizations should utilize prosper and scientific evidence-based approach with respect to wearing facemasks, when the latter is considered as preventive intervention for public health.

“We had hoped to see the new statewide masking mandate make a difference in flattening the rate of infection,

Horse shit. What he really meant was "We had hoped to see the new statewide masking mandate get ahead of the upcoming natural flattening of the rate of infection, and thus take credit for what would happen anyway. But the curve did not flatten and it embarrassed us by confirming the ineffectiveness of masks."

I strongly suspect that this is a deliberate policy to increase deaths so as to keep the fear going, sell more jabs, and increase Pfizer profits.

In other words, the genocide has begun. Wait till they really unleash the beast system of tyranny and oppression. Only those who submit will be considered worthy, but even then not even the sheep will be safe from the slaughter. We are not even as valuable as cattle in the eyes of Bill Gates and Klaus Schwab and their globalist cabal members.

In sunlight, the virus is killed quickly by UV. Around 20 seconds, if I recall. Without that, I do not know how long it can last. I've heard days, but there are so many lies, it is hard to know for sure.

Yeah the days is a maximum and it assumes it has a surface to latch onto, plastic, cardboard etc. It's unlikely that sars cov2 has much staying power in aerosols from all the studies done, and even if so the half life under optimal conditions is around one hour. It's possible in a place with zero ventilation but most stores and venues have some form of ventilation. But the safest way is to do everything outdoors. Keep in mind that the majority of transmissions are within family, restaurants made up less than 2%, so I assume stores even far less.

The Philly naked bike ride required masks this year

The whole point of a naked bike ride is to throw off the shackles of authority and celebrate the freedom of the human body and spirit.

Unless, of course, your free-spirited nudity goes against the moral edicts of our new woke religion and the patron saint of masks, St. Anthony Fauci.

In THAT case, you have to celebrate throwing off your shackles by literally muzzling your face.

You may be wondering how a thin cloth mask could possibly play any difference in viral spread when you're riding outdoors at 30mph with your bits and kibble flapping freely in the wind.

Your problem is that you have a functioning brain.
To save the public conscience from the horrors of woke bodies bouncing on bicycles, I will spare you of the video of the actual event.

Sufficed to say, however, the majority of participants strapped a face diaper on as they let the rest of their bodies hang out for the world to see.

https://notthebee.com/article/forbes-just-memory-holed-an-article-it-published-by-a-child-trauma-expert-warning-of-the-alleged-risks-of-school-mask-mandates

Sep 1st, 2021 12:13 pm
A few weeks ago Forbes published an article by teacher and Columbia University Ph.D student Zack Ringelstein, warning about the harms of mask mandates for kids:

"Masks and social distancing induce trauma and trauma at a young age is developmentally dangerous, especially for children who are experiencing trauma in other parts of their lives."

In the essay, Ringelstein also argued that "children in masks who are socially distanced are more likely to lead a sedentary lifestyle at school and home, and therefore are also more likely to become both obese and depressed" and that "children in masks are also likely to miss out on critical language development, another fundamental area of growth in early years."

It was a bracing article, notable for its unvarnished assertions about school mask mandates at a time when questioning those mandates is professionally and personally risky.

It would appear that Forbes belatedly decided the same thing, because as of Wednesday, the article is... gone.

Up until now, there has been no comprehensive investigation as to the adverse health effects masks can cause. The aim was to find, test, evaluate and compile scientifically proven related side effects of wearing masks. For a quantitative evaluation, 44 mostly experimental studies were referenced, and for a substantive evaluation, 65 publications were found. The literature revealed relevant adverse effects of masks in numerous disciplines. In this paper, we refer to the psychological and physical deterioration as well as multiple symptoms described because of their consistent, recurrent and uniform presentation from different disciplines as a Mask-Induced Exhaustion Syndrome (MIES). We objectified evaluation evidenced changes in respiratory physiology of mask wearers with significant correlation of O2 drop and fatigue (p < 0.05), a clustered co-occurrence of respiratory impairment and O2 drop (67%), N95 mask and CO2 rise (82%), N95 mask and O2 drop (72%), N95 mask and headache (60%), respiratory impairment and temperature rise (88%), but also temperature rise and moisture (100%) under the masks. Extended mask-wearing by the general population could lead to relevant effects and consequences in many medical fields.

Was around Harrisburg PA yesterday at the RV show and later at a restaurant. Both places were crowded as fuck. Almost nobody wearing a mask at the RV show. Absolutely nobody at Texas Roadhouse wearing a mask, not even the employees! I don't see that where I live.

And if you were wondering, there was no shortage of RV's at the show. They were also packed in like proverbial sardines. It was really hot outside (as if it were July) and with all the RV awnings out it was easy enough to stay in the shade most of the time.

Masking is alive and well in NYC, unfortunately. I feel that all the mandatory signage keeps people afraid of the virus even when they shouldn't be. I'm starting to see "How To Wear Two Mask" signs now.

I just realized that I don't even own a mask. Feels like I'm living in a parallel dimension to these maskers.

I've never been asked to wear a mask in a supermarket. I should have been more clear. I feel that businesses are required to have a sign that says "Please wear a mask" but it's not lawfully required to actually wear one. Citizens in NYC keep confusing these CDC recommendations with laws and it simply isn't the case from my experience. That or no one cares. The businesses I've frequented for decades don't care that I'm not wearing a mask. I don't wear a mask on the NYC subway, and I commute multiple times a day. I've ridden the trains next to MTA employees and the NYPD they simply don't care. There's a small percentage of folks like me that just don't wear masks anywhere, because they figured out that nobody will do anything. I'm always prepared to just turn around and leave if I'm asked to wear one, but it never happens.

The worst that can happen is middle aged to elderly women give me dirty looks. I was pretty adjusted to that before COVID. Any business that would force me to wear a mask just won't get my business.

Restaurants are a different story. We almost never dined out at restaurants before any of this passport stuff unless it was a very special occasion. When I order out for food, it's usually from places that barely had dining in space to begin with. Spending more than ten dollars for a hot meal would give me a damn heart attack anyway, so if I need a fast bite I go to one of our many food carts.

Just got home from a supermarket excursion so I did an unofficial count:

3 maskless customers (including myself)
2 maskless employees
The checkout girl wasn't wearing her mask over her nose
5 masked customers
3 masked employees
1 double masked irritable upper middle aged woman

And of course I forgot the damn vegetable broth.

Here in northern Virginia (I live about 1 mile from CIA headquarters...Langley Va.) which is deep blue. I never wore a mask anywhere. Was only asked to leave 2 places. We never did go out to eat much before covid. Mostly takeout so not going to restaurants didn't affect us much. I went in to grocery stores, my local hardware store, convenience stores, drug stores without any problems at all. I would always pick up our to go food without a mask. If they tried to enforce the mask bullshit I simply asked them if they wanted me to pay for my food order or if they wanted to lose even more money than they already have. Worked every time.
