You have to go back 11,300 years to make your cannibal argument vs. ~500? That's a stretch. Most Euro ancestors were still in the middle east and India back then.

We're talking Paleolithic. Those people were wiped out by the migrations of the Mesolithic and Neolithic farmers. Scant trace of Paleo in modern Europeans.

We prefer to call Asia, Eastern Europe. That's where we get the East vs. West modifiers from. The East Asians were only a sliver of people until somewhat recently but not necessarily coastal. Most of Eastern Europe were white Caucasians until Genghis.

I think I heard about that as well.

There is (was?) a Basque restaurant in South SF my co-workers and I ate that. The person who recommended it talked it up and it was such a let down, for me at least.

First, it was expensive and I was a brokester back then. When they brought me my order I swear someone had just dumped a can of pork-n-beans onto a plate and set a lamb shank on top of it. Looked and tasted just like pork-n-beans.

Lots of Indians did die from European diseases they had no resistance too, but on the other hand, vast numbers of Indians were also saved by the Spanish from the ritual sacrifice that would have been their fate had the Aztec empire continued.

So the tired and dishonest "white people bad" propaganda should always be countered with honesty and good will.
