I think You are overestimating the power of CCP. The trade imbalances are build due to following:
1) CCP taking extensive debt and human rights abuses to produce cheap products.
2) CCP distributing non-repayable debt to poor nations to establish modern imperialism.
CCP is going to run into issues for both not only due to excessive debt accumulation but also.
1) Chinese are already rebelling against poor working conditions at hand by "laying flat" and producing "less sheep for Wolves"..i.e not producing children for CCP hegemony over them and world.
2) Resentment is building against china in Asia and Africa against their new imperialism.
Trump crippled CCP's 5G dreams by crippling Huawei by not letting chip suppliers like Broadcom or tool vendors to supply needed tools/chips.
Now if Biden or US Govt is CCP puppet then all bets are off. Treason can bring down anything.
