It almost sounds like something somehow induced a kind of immunosuppression in these kids.

Penney said that, as they tried to figure out what was driving the increase, they considered a “slew of factors” — travel, a history of covid infection, underlying health, and any common activities or exposures — and they just couldn’t find ANY common element linking the cases.

Do you, like me, notice something pretty big missing from that “slew of factors” the CDC looked at? Hint: It starts with a ‘v’.

The doctors are, as usual, baffled. They wonder, how are these new infections related to the pandemic? Maybe it’s immunity debt from keeping the kids on lockdown so long? But that doesn’t quite fit either. They don’t know, and they don’t have any good ideas.

Altitude sickness usually doesn't cause cardiac arrest though. Plenty of mountaineers in their 60s and 70s, part time ski instructors etc. It's possible, but highly unlikely.

The problem isn't altitude itself though. It's the base. If you live near sea level there are potential risks if you exert yourself without acclimating to the new altitude and lower oxygen levels. Say hiking to the top of a 14k' mountain on a vacation the first day you get there. Mountaineers generally start at an exponentially higher base altitude, not flying in to Denver from Chicago same day.

As someone with 25 or so friends and former classmates out in Colorado and Montana with visitors from IL, it's a legit problem. They've had visitors that needed medical attention before. I've learned if I go to high altitude places the trip is going to be 7-10 days. I blow two days doing low intensity stuff. Fishing. Sight seeing. Nothing more than a mile hike with little altitude change.

You CA guys could drive to the Sierras every weekend if you wanted and get up to 5k'+ frequently. I'm maybe, maybe 1-2 times a year. My lungs are used to low altitude conditions almost 355 days a year. That's why you got so many Olympians and cyclist living and training in Colorado Springs and Denver area. You're not getting in the Tour De France cycling in IL, that's for sure. You probably die in the mountain portion if you didn't train at altitude.

The vax could have been a factor. We'll never know though because I swear no one is studying any of this. The guy took Tylenol too. We simply have no clue how it interacts with other substances and conditions. If we can't talk about concerns publicly can they actively research negative effects? Probably not.

I am absolutely serious that you need to abandon Google. Yandex isn't perfect, and for technical information it's not quite equivalent, but for general information, it's far superior. I'm sure they censor, but they don't censor in the same way.

Also, difficult to believe those are real boobs and I don't believe she has a real ass. She looks like an entirely unnatural freak to me. I don't think plastic surgery does anything positive. I learned about the 9-11-2001 controversy on this forum around 10 years ago. By 2013 the evidence from 911 was vast. By then it was obvious (to me after looking at the evidence) that the three WTC towers were blown up. The actors were uncertain but it was obvious the neo-cons were using it as an excuse for wars abroad and oppression at home.

I was born shortly before Kennedy was assassinated. By the time I was a teenager and interested in such stuff there were "conspiracy theory" books about the political assassinations of the '60s. They were in the same category as "ancient astronauts."

It's hard to believe that our government is trying to kill us. The last couple of years has made it obvious the government is trying to control us. Ultimately the only way a government can accomplish this is to imprison or kill those that won't submit to their will.

I have yet to be affected by sudden death. None of my immediate friends or family have died suddenly though I dread that it may just be a matter of time. This I can attest to. My SIL lost 2 after being vaccinated. My wife had her issues for 4 months, but we're done with kids. So who knows what that outcome would have been. It's messing with women for sure. I have 8 nieces and nephews on my wife's side, so it's not genetics, they can pump them out and that's not including my 2. The vax was the only change.

I think it’s great that Dr.Agostinis wants to write a book about his experiences with this terrifying neurological disease and wants to advocate for improvement in healthcare.

But he also wants to teach others about what he learned. And here lies the problem. This situation reminds me of Celine Dion and her 1 in a million diagnosis of a Neurological disease called “Stiff Person Syndrome” which is incurable and fatal.

Celine Dion came out publicly with her disease on Dec.15, 2022 but she did not mention COVID-19 vaccines as a possible cause, yet there are 33 cases of “Stiff Person Syndrome” reported to the WHO Vigiaccess database as adverse events from COVID-19 vaccines. So much for a “1 in a million” condition.

Celine Dion also chose to remain silent, despite having the ability to use her vast platform to reach and help millions of people.

That, in itself, is a tragedy. Everyone will be remembered for what they did during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as what they failed or refused to do.

NORTON SHORES, Mich. — A community is mourning after Western Michigan Christian High School student Alia Zuidema died Saturday after a medical emergency, according to school officials.

Alia was a freshman at WMC. She was an athlete who participated in cross country, basketball and soccer. She was also a choir member.

The WMC Sports Twitter page posted photos honoring Alia and said she died from an unexpected medical emergency.

The University of Kansas student found dead in her sorority house on Saturday was identified by Lawrence police as a 19-year-old from Overland Park. The student was Piper Alexis Carter, Sgt. Drew Fennelly said in a statement Monday. Police investigating her death found no signs of foul play, and the cause of her death remained unknown as the coroner had yet to release findings.
