I've thought this many times while driving through Detroit or through the black parts of Chicago.

Civilization is not really a thing in those places. I've seen people building fires in the middle of the street in Chicago, or just passive-aggressively standing in the street so that you have to drive around them in Detroit. Some black guy in Seattle pulled out a large knife in front of me and held it up, just for effect I guess. Saw a shooting on the highway just outside Detroit, two black guys with some traffic dispute.

There were black kids dropping cinderblocks on passing cars from overpasses in Detroit until they put chain link fences totally over the overpass, and once they dropped a bowling ball on a guy on the highway beneath, and it took off his head as he drove through at 65 mph.

Not one politician has had an angry crowd take them out. In fact, those Chicago and blue city politicians will not even be voted out.

That is because the crowd is more civilized than the politicians, but I am not talking about crowds and politicians. I am saying that when the food supply runs out, when fuel runs out and or when the power/water goes down you will have anarchy and the military will likely be called on to restore order. Look at the looting in New Orleans and BLM, and multiply by 1000.

Neither was it during the BLM riots. Expect more of the same when the next crisis/opportunity presents itself. Could be a natural disaster, could be a breakdown in food or energy, could be a black swan we could not even anticipate but the thing we call civilization is a fragile thing, perhaps not even a reality but rather a shared delusion. For example how could Catholic and Protestant majority Germany allow psychopaths to take over their country and turn it into a death and slavery factory? Our generation is facing a 1930’s style power play on a global scale. Who does stand in their way, and what will happen when the restrainer is removed and God allows the unbelievers to have their way?

The White Rose is a well-known example of the Germans executing their own citizens for dissent.

White Rose, German anti-Nazi group formed in Munich in 1942. Unlike the conspirators of the July Plot (1944) or participants in such youth gangs as the Edelweiss Pirates, the members of the White Rose advocated nonviolent resistance as a means of opposing the Nazi regime.

Three of the group’s founding members—Hans Scholl, Willi Graf, and Alexander Schmorell—were medical students at the University of Munich. While on the Eastern Front, the trio observed the murder of Jewish civilians by SS troops. When they returned to Munich, the three joined with other students—including Hans’s sister Sophie—to discuss their opposition to the Nazi regime. ...

The first of those leaflets, published in June 1942, quoted liberally from the works of Friedrich Schiller and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, and it advocated passive resistance to the Nazi war effort. The first White Rose essay concluded with the statement, “Do not forget that every nation deserves the government that it endures.” Using addresses obtained from a telephone directory, the leaflets were mailed to individuals across Munich. Five more leaflets followed over the next eight months, and the Gestapo became increasingly concerned about the potential threat posed by them. By early 1943, members of the White Rose were scattering leaflets by hand, and they began an anti-Nazi graffiti campaign, painting “Freedom” and “Down with Hitler” on buildings throughout Munich.

Those actions increased the risk faced by the students, and on February 18, 1943, a Nazi party member observed Hans and Sophie throwing leaflets from a University of Munich classroom building. They were arrested that day, and an investigation uncovered the participation of Christoph Probst, a fellow University of Munich medical student, in the White Rose. The Scholls and Probst were quickly tried, and the three were beheaded on February 22, 1943. In the months that followed, dozens were imprisoned for their (real or imagined) connections to the White Rose, and some, including Graf and Schmorell, were executed.
