the government is entirely illegitimate
Do I understand your position on DeSantis correctly? You are complaining that he is not placing mandates on private businesses?
I think Patrick is pissed because DeSantis is not BANNING mandates from individual employers.
I'm opposed to gross violations of human rights, such as the requirement to be injected with a clearly dangerous drug as a condition of employment.
As far as I know, employers in Florida are not mandating their employees take the shot.

This is probably why DeSantis hasn't done this yet. He hasn't had to.
I don't get how an employer can mandate what you put in your body
My libertarian instinct are against mandates and against mandating business not having mandates.

Self solving problem.
Businesses that discriminate have a smaller pool of talent to draw from. Businesses that don't discriminate have a larger pool of talent to draw from.
I hope so, but the high-tech bullies in silicon valley can sometimes gang up on "bad behavior" with a combined front. I could imagine that what happened to Parler over free speech could happen to a company that refused to install a vax mandate.
my employer can demand that I dress up as a hooker, and wear lipstick.

He's just grooming you for "other" things.
What DeSantis should do is pull all state funding from private entities who require the shot, and eliminate Federal funds going to private companies within the state. That would end mandates in a heartbeat.

How would that stop a diner from mandating the non-vax?
That was over a fucking high score of a video game. Unless you're an obsessive nerd, you don't understand us. We're fucking relentless.
I, for one, love nerds and early adoptors...don't come after me. :)
I work in the tech industry and while everyone around me is fully aware that anything new and rushed out is to be avoided, they simply ignore that concept when it came to these vaccines.
It's a helluva magic trick.

Patrick saysLook at how all of his tweets are just touting a different very profitable injection, and how he never mentions Ivermectin
Because his cronies and aids never mention it to him. He doesn't have all day to screw around on PatNet or otherwise to find out like some of us do. :)
I find that nerds are often not early adopters. A few are, but then after they get older they realize "hey, the first generation of everything sucks!" - and it does.

The first generation, the latest and greatest, is always without exception the worst version of whatever you're getting. It has bugs, it's hastily put together, it's expensive.
Now about these first ever generation of mRNA and DNA "vaccines" that have never been used in animals or humans until about 9 months ago..
I made that comment so nerds won't come after me if I fuck up. If they'll go after a false video game score...

A supporter yelled out, "Give 'em Hell, Harry!"
Truman replied, "I don't give them Hell. I just tell the truth about them, and they think it's Hell."
zzyzzx saysThis is correct. I work remotely in CA now for a FL-based healthcare company, and they just informed the entire company on Monday which was my first day on the job. This includes ALL employees whether you're 100% remote or not. FMLclambo saysAs far as I know, employers in Florida are not mandating their employees take the shot.

Porkchopexpress's new company is a FL based healthcare provider iirc and they're mandating it. I'm also generally against placing too much burden on employers but I agree with Patrick that in this case it is a human rights violation.
governorron.desantis@eog.myflorida.comThanks patrick. I just wrote Ron as well about my specific situation with links to scientific studies about natural immunity, etc.
@porkchopexpress How do you feel about renting in Montana for a year? That might be enough for mandates to be removed.I thought about that but unfortunately, my company doesn't care where you live if you're remote, so the mandate still applies. Montana is restricting Montana-based employers only...they can't do anything about FL-based companies.
I'm guessing that if you work for a Florida employer but live in Montana, then Montana law will apply to you, and the mandate cannot be enforced on you. But I don't really know.

And all of his tweets are just touting a different very profitable injection, and note how he never mentions Ivermectin.
So fuck him. Done.
The only thing we need from all of our "public servants" right now is opposition to the jab.
That's it. Basic human rights.
Without that, the government is entirely illegitimate and we should all be actively undermining it for our freedom.
